Reviewed By kaloussa“Motel” style, but with the cleanliness and comfort you need to have a restful night after or before a business trip. Breakfast on private terrace was extra. Exemplary in regards to Covid-19 safety regulations. Very new and very clean! Bravo!

Reviewed By Ania NEvery year we are trying to visit this amazing place. This year it was wonderful as always. If you are looking for safe and peaceful place - this is the right choice for you. You can enjoy yourself with delicious food and not crowded beaches. The hotel is right next to amazing restaurant. The rooms are very comfortable, great breakfast, family and friendly atmosphere. Koutsoupia is also great place for sports and sightseeing. Definitely worth visiting and coming back every year !

Reviewed By erine975We stayed at the hotel around a day hike of Mount Olympus. Maria and her team at the site were welcoming and pleased to have us. The rooms were clean and the location is just a few minutes walk into Elassona. It was great to feel we were in the middle of the real Greece.

THE KASTRI HOTEL is a newly built hotel which is located in the KASTRI LUTRO settlement. The word 'LUTRO' means "BATH". This area has been for a long time a rather popular bathing place, not only for the inhabitants but also for visitors from far afield. Kastri Lutro received the EU's "BLUE FLAG" reward and acknowledgment,which means, that the EU conducts yearly stringent tests of the water quality, the seashores condition and its facilities and also supervisers the districts environments. These factors contributes and includes the safety of the tourists and inhabitants of the settlement.
Awful management and non qualified staff
Reviewed By 421tomasMy wife and I have booked this hotel via travel agency. From the first minute of our arrival this hotel has been nothing then very wrong choice (at the best). Booked double bed room, but got room with two separate beds with interesting sign on the door “Staff only”. The answer to not appropriate bed type was – “All our rooms are like this!”. After a short talk we found out that there are rooms with double beds, but those “Are more expensive! And not available!” After a talk with our travel agent the solution was for us to move three times to a different rooms during our seven night stay! Still one night we had to spend in a twin bed room. The hotel is relatively new, but in all the rooms we’ve been there were different problems – not working freezer, not working toilet (not flushing water) and etc. The staff was not helpful in solving those. I had a feeling that me myself had to offer solutions to their hotel problems. The location is very peaceful and remote (located in a very small village), this could be a plus if you like calm holiday. You definitely need a car if you want to see some sights our just simply get around the region. If you want to sleep with your second half on a separate beds or drag your baggage from one room to another, choose this hotel! If you expect normal treatment during your holiday better avoid this place!

Reviewed By Κατερίνα Ταραζά ΒΠολύ ήσυχη περιοχή, με πάρκο απέναντι. Το ξενοδοχείο είναι αρκετά παλιό, αλλά είναι πλήρως λειτουργικό. Οι ιδιοκτήτες είναι πολύ εξυπηρετικοί και φιλόξενοι. Είναι καθαρό. Πρόκειται για διαμερίσματα, δωμάτιο, μπάνιο, σαλόνι. Το φαγητό είναι πεντανόστιμο. Ο κήπος περιποιημένος. Αν θες να αποφύγεις τη φασαρία του κέντρου, είναι μια ικανοποιητική πρόταση. Η τιμή του είναι αυτή που πρέπει για αυτά που σου παρέχει. Το αρνητικό είναι ότι, ενώ υπάρχουν παντού πινακίδες ότι απαγορεύεται το κάπνισμα, δυστυχώς δεν τηρείται η απαγόρευση με αποτέλεσμα να υπάρχει μια ελαφριά μυρωδιά τσιγάρου ακόμα και στα φρεσκοπλυμένα σεντόνια. Ανεπαίσθητη μεν, ενοχλητική δε για έναν μη καπνιστή. Αυτό όμως διορθώνεται.

Reviewed By Ola KIf you are looking for a place to relax and rest from big city life, I can honestly recommend you this place. Kalypso is very quiet place. Standard of rooms are really good in comparison to other guesthouses in Kokkino Nero. There is a private pool for guest, most of the time it's empty, so you can enjoy your time there. The owner is really friendly to his customers. Rooms are clean and comfortable. You have to be prepered to pay for air conditioning (5euro a day). I think this is the only disadvantage of this place. I stronlgy recommend this. When it comes to the village - when you are looking for relaxing trip, it's good. But All inclusive option is terrible. I reccomend to skip it and eat in local Taverna's and Red Bakery it's the best option for breakfast for like 2 euros.

Reviewed By dankostiklicaSo many things to say but, most important ones are: -great place for rest, in the way that it suppose to be....no unnecessary things to take your attention from your rest and location just beside of sea....just a step away.... I do recommend beer/coffee bar behind facility ( belongs to a hotel) and surrounding area it self...small, beautiful place for evening walks and nice restaurants with local food. Definite recommendation for those among us who do like simple but to the full holiday place for a real rest.

Reviewed By jouster98Right by the train station, difficult to find though if you don't speak/read any Greek. Larissa itself was not a great city to explore, don't bother stopping if you're on your way to Thessaloniki from Athens. The hotel itself at least had air conditioning. For the price it was alright.
