Reviewed By GrossenederThis hotel is located near the central railways station. The airport is further away. The price for a taxi is 10 Euros to reach the airport. The hotel as such is ideal for the train traveller, because within 3 minutes walk you are at the station. If you come by car free parking is available on a public car park nearby.

Unexpected gem on the way from Puglia to Sicily
Reviewed By Susan SOn the basis of previous reviews we chose to overnight at Il Borghetto enroute from Puglia to Sicily and we were not disappointed. Not only was the restaurant first class but the room was large and very comfortable with a sitting/desk area. Chef Tony and Claudia seem to do it all - from greeting and showing us to our room to preparing the most magnificent, delicious and beautifully presented meal, as well as assisting with travel questions. This unassuming (from the outside) establishment is well worth a special trip or if passing anywhere near Lamezia Terme.

I arrived at the B&B very late at night, but he was just worried about making sure I would get a good rest. Thanks Antonio, you are simply the best! The B&B is very conveniently located. The bus stop for the airport transfer service is just 30 metres away. You can reach the airport in 5 minutes (just make sure you buy the ticket beforehand as they do not sell it on board - it can be bought for only 1.5 Euro from the bar in front of the bus stop). The B&B is also across the road the rail station for any longer trip by train. If you prefer more freedom/flexibility in exploring the region, the best option is probably to rent a car from the several car-rentals nearby. I rented a car from Maggiore, whose office is at 50 metres from the B&B. The B&B has a private indoor parking included in the price. The area is more than safe, but having your rented car in an indoor parking is always better, especially if you decide to leave you own belongings in the car. On the day of my departure, I simply moved the car in the nearby car-rental parking, and jumped on an airport transfer bus. All very easy, with no stress whatsoever. The B&B is spotlessly clean and quiet. The rooms face the interior - I could not hear any noise from the rail station or nearby roads. Everything is super clean and tidy. A real gem and ideal to recover some energy after so much sun! I'll be back, Antonio! Ciao

Reviewed By wildatdisneyStayed at this b&b by myself but was welcomed outside by the staff who showed me in. Was slightly back off the road, directly opposite the central train station. Situated inside an apartment style block but easy to navigate, with a lift and key code/key card entry so felt very safe. Room was lovely, very clean and comfy with tea/coffee and excellent wifi. Breakfast was offered in the morning in the little area outside the rooms but I was leaving too early for this. I was offered a token to use at the cafe next door instead. Excellent organisation of an airport taxi which arrived outside right on time and cost 10 Euro to the airport. All round a lovely stay.

Reviewed By Jade SI stayed a week . Not enough towels for my family. Small rooms . Shower is so small that if you drop the soap you have to turn everything off and open the two accordion doors . Not able to keep the water from soaking your bathroom floor when showering. Not enough toilet paper and no Kleenex . Had to go to the lobby to ask for toilet paper . Maid never came to service our room . Breakfast ok . But restaurant always closed when we ask to eat . Wifi intermittent . The room and bedroom comfort is a 2 star and this is why I am writing this review for all not to expect a 4 star . Very disappointed ☹️

1 night stay before leaving Italy
Reviewed By gabbie83We stayed in this hotel for 1 night before catching an early flight out. Upon check in we were told we have to pay for our room, I had to search through my emails to show confirmation from expedia that it was already paid for. Rooms were OK - We didn't spend much time here, went and explored - if you are in the area I definitely recommend driving to Hang Loose Beach. Parking wasn't a problem in this area. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on that.

It is placed in a very good developed area from a touristic point of view.Piccolo Hotel has 15 indipedent rooms all with: Air Conditioning, Heating, Telephone, Tv set, Writing-desk, Private bathroom with shower, Courtesy bathroom set, towels and bathrobe. We have been providing quality accommodation to our guests for over 30 years.
Nice little hotel near to the train station
Reviewed By incapaxWe stayed only for a half day (since we needed a place to rest till our plane departures) at this hotel, but we really liked it. The staff was friendly and the room was very nice, clean and tidy. They also have a very cute dog. :)
