Reviewed By Hoyer070This is a fantastic agriturismo near to Lake Trasimeno. Beautiful authentic place, with very nice appartments. You drive within 1 hour to places like Assisi, Arrezzo, Gubbio and Orvieto. Hostess very friendly.

Immesi nella silente capagna(anche se la strada è li e il traffico non manca) con il suo cicalio e le immense distese di ulivi fanno far pace con a vita tumultuosa e disordnata di ogni giorno . Piscina è il top soprattuto se si è gli unici a usarla

The farm holidays is an old farmhouse, wisely restyled, composed by 4 apartments which maintain the country style but have the modern comforts required to spend a pleasant holidays between the beauties of Umbria and Tuscany. Toys for children, a lot of relax spaces with beds are in the middle of a big garden available for our hosts where you can play any kind of sport, read a book with quiete atmosphere. Outside you can find a barbeque. Out back-land is rich of green fruits which you will find over the table too every day. At last the relaxable context, our 4-foots-friends which are going to stay with you all the time. Bicycle available ! We are a family-run business endowed with the passion of those who always did what they believed in
Umbrian hospitality at it's best
Reviewed By Nathan CAfter being washed away by heavy rain from a campeggio in western Tuscany, we were forced into finding a new accommodation, and preferably not another camping this time. Luckily, we soon found an available apartment at this Agriturismo near lake Trasimeno.This concurrence of events couldn't have turned out any better! Upon our arrival we were very warmly welcomed by the hostess, Eleonora. She enthousiastically showed us the neatly furnished apartment including a kitchen with dishwasher, the animals that reside in the garden (donkey, chickens, goats, horse...), the large vegetable garden and the laundry room. She told us as intelligable as possible in Italian that we could pick fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs from the garden and eggs from the chickens whenever we needed anything. And so we enjoyed the fresh tomatoes, onions, and more every day during our stay. We didn't use the nice family barbecue that's also in the garden, though. When we didn't enjoy the tranquillity from one of the many terraces in the garden and on the roof, we went on a trip to lake Trasimeno, Perugia, Arezzo, Cortona, Montepulciano or another magnet in the vicinity of Castiglione del Lago, which by the way is picturesque of it's own as well. When we wanted to stay an extra night, a transfer from one apartment to another (the place was almost fully booked) was no problem at all. They even helped us move our heavy bags! The only downsides I could find are the (not so busy) railroad around the corner, no wifi, and the lack of a swimming pool (which I wouldn't have used anyway). This, however, was more than adequately compensated by Eleonora's warm welcome, her homemade biscotti, nonno Francesco's hardly intelligable Italian stories (he just talks louder when he notices you don't understand him), his tasty biologically produced olive oil and Merlot wine, and of course the surroundings. Agriturismo Doce Verde is definitely worth a recommendation!

Reviewed By 00122Second visit ,just back won't be my last ,this for us is perfection,amazing views lovely rooms .Daniel and extended family are welcoming nothing is trouble ,the produce from their farm brilliant...olive oil ,wine fruit etc. The pool is the best very safe for children and totally relaxing. San Severo is only minutes to the villages of Passignano ,Tuoro, great restaurants ,shops ,and of course Lago Trasimeno ! Convient to motorway to Assisi Florence, Sienna and many others . We really enjoy self catering and here is perfect for it ,

“Romitorio” is located in Pozzuolo Umbro, in the greenest part of Umbria, close to the border with Tuscany, in the midst of rolling hills and gentle slopes covered by olive groves and vineyards. This part of the country, famous all over the world for the intense yet peaceful colours of its countryside, is surrounded by 3 lakes: Trasimeno, Montepulciano and Chiusi, each only a short distance away. Some of Umbria’s and Tuscany’s most famous cities are only a short drive away, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio to name but a few. By request is available the new Restaurant inside the farm.
Incredible weekend at family run Farmhouse
Reviewed By Liemertje SAn absolute treasure in the Umbran hills. This family run farmhouse is professionally run yet with an incredibly friendly and easygoing vibe. Delicious food all from their own or local products. You can enjoy their meals (other than the included breakfast) both at lunch and dinner at a great price. The furniture is also very unique, antique but well kept. We had the little apartment with a fireplace that made it very cozy. In the mornings you can walk to see the olive trees, the horses and the pig families, and in the afternoon take nice walks and bike around the lake Trasimeno. Will be back!

A historical farmhouse (1864) fully renewed last year with every comfort in a wonderful position on a hill in Passignano sul Trasimeno, 800 m from the centre and from the lake, where from every corner the view enchants and the sun shines from sunrise to sunset. The apartments combine charme of tradition with modernity: marble floors, air conditioning, dishwasher, jacuzzi, satellite TV, wifi; every detail tells you about the care that we have reserved for your wellbeing

Reviewed By ross736Spent a wonderful week with our young dog Angus ? The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a self catering holiday. The hostess Antonella was extremely friendly, provided us with coffee, wine and olive oil from the estate and altogether is a lovely kind person. We would absolutely recommend a visit and we will definitely return ?.

Reviewed By suewarnock1This is a great place, located on the side of the hilltop overlooking Lake Trasimeno it has spectacular views over the lake and islands. We were treated to stunning sunsets and a fantastic bird display in the evenings. Can't always guarantee either of those of course but we were lucky. Friendly owners and clean and tidy apartments. It's a bit of a treck back up if you venture out in the evenings, and you'll need a torch to get back up safely. But it does burn off a few of the calories consumed. Its got a good pool too, although if there was one thing I could change about this destination it would be that the pool was slightly heated. It was very cold, I did manage to get in most days for a swim though.

Reviewed By Evi55We just spent one night here on our way back. We got a fully equipped spacious apartment that sleeps four for only € 55/night. The place is a bit outdated in terms of furniture, but very clean and the hosts are a delight. They give you all the info you need to explore the vicinity. A supermarket is across the street for your daily needs.
