Huanchaco was approved as a World Surfing Reserve by the organization Save The Waves Coalition in 2012 This historic town is part of the tourist circuit called the "Moche Route" or "Ruta Moche". Today despite modern developments, it still retains its old charm.

Though this is call a "sushi house", we actually didn't see any actual sushi on the menu. There were tiraditos (raw fish in sauce) and a large variety of rolls, but no actual sushi, which seemed a little odd. We order three maki rolls that were each excellent, though none made with good local fresh fish (salmon and tuna, all brought in from afar). Service was great and people were very friendly. This is one of the very few restaurants open for dinner in the evening at this(south) end of town and it definitely serves the need.

Little hidden gem located in the centre of Huanchaco. Situated on the roof of the building, this terrace restaurant is cozily decorated and plays great music during the meal. The food they serve is fantastic. Great taste, fresh and price worthy.I highly recommend their pad thai.10/10 would go if I was you.

Comida tipo fast food oriental peruano, tallarÃn saltado, uno escoge que verduras comer y las preparan delante de uno, los precios son cómodos, también hay arroz, el local es nuevo, limpio, hay que leer las indicaciones para ser atendido.
