This hotel was ok, clean, partly refurbished but nothing special. We had a ground floor room which would definitely be accessible to wheel chair users or any disabled person. Seemed a bit understaffed but in the morning and later on, but we were not affected by any of this. Next door there is an excellent restaurant but I don't remember its name

How can a hotel with a fantastic location and a great view of the Saguenay Fjord have such a bad review...well...it's easy...dont renovate and keep your hotel looking like you went back in time in the 1980's.The rooms have wallpaper that are un-glued and the washrooms are clean but ugly.The dining room has no ambience and the decor is...well it has no decor...to bad because the view to the fjord is amazing and the food is fantastic.The chef could work in a 5 star instead of this dive.

We had a lovely French dinner here. Service was excellent and the food was superb. Be aware, however, that menus are in French only, and the waiter's English is extremely limited as well.

The food is very good, we had the beef tartare, prepared by the chef, and I have to admit that it was excellent. My wife had a Caesar salad, good but not unforgettable. The staff is welcoming and friendly.
The place is cosy and well placed along the bay.
But, because there is a But, the prices are too high, 29$ for the tartare is really not appropriate. I guess this tourist area is probably the source of these rates.

A nice former residence, good location near the waterfront and cruise terminal, pleasant front porch with adorable flower arrangements, interesting and promising menu, cheerful reception and a colorful décor and ambience; everything to set the stage for a pleasant evening with family members we hadn't seen for years.
The cod was delicious, well presented and tasty. On the other hand, the General Tao was not what we expected. The relatively large chunks of bland and stringy chicken were dry to the point of being tough. I am sure that is not what the General had in mind when he chose his favorite dish to feed his troops. Unfortunately, the unusually long wait for the main course and the level of noise coming from the few occupied tables this evening did not help matters and made it hard to relax and carry on a comfortable conversation.

This is a good inexpensive place to eat for couples or a family. Their 2 for 1 pizzas seem to be a permanent fixture. My wife and I had a pizza each (one with meat, one without), plenty of house wine, and with tax and tip still paid less than $40. The service is good and the restaurant is central. Recommended.

We really enjoyed our family meal here.
There is plenty on offer for everyone to find something delicious and the prices are very reasonable.
I highly recommend the fresh fish and chips (with salad) - i really enjoyed mine.
Book early to avoid disappointment, this place can be very popular.
Great here - would definitely recommend this place to travelling families.

Nous sommes allés au restaurant L'Orphee pour prendre le petit déjeuner familial. Cet endroit est vraiment très bien, la nourriture excellente, le service chaleureux. Le décor est tout simple, sans prétention, mais les gens sont serviables et heureux de nous accueillir. La cuisine est d'inspiration grecque et américaine. On y sert aussi des fondues. D'autres personnes nous ont mentionné que les repas du midi et du soir sont très bien et aussi bien servis. On peut apporter son vin ou sa bière sans frais.
