Reviewed By 3553763046比较了很多家客栈最后决定住在偶遇江南，事实证明我选择是对的。 偶遇江南离古牌不远，老板亲自来门口接，服务很好，客栈的位置很安静，晚上闹中取静，环境很美，性价比很高，去的几天天气都不错，一楼的房间一点也不潮湿。 尤其喜欢他的院子，设计的很温馨，哪也不去在院子里呆着都是一件很美好的事情。

A Recipe for Disappointment
Reviewed By aBoaterThis may be among the best hotels in the old town of Zhouzhuang, but that doesn't mean you'll want to stay there. We didn't--and felt fortunate that we had only booked a single night before moving on to Suzhou. Perhaps there are no decent hotels in Zhouzhuang. While the hotel has a charming location in the middle of a fascinating old town, the place is a dump, not to put too fine a point on it. The room we had booked with a water view wasn't available--until long after we'd settled in. Beds are nothing more than a sheet of plywood topped by a thin layer of squishy foam. The proprietors supplied an extra comforter to put over the plywood, so that was a help, though hardly a solution. The place is in bad shape. That is apparent from the 2-foot wide corridor that leads to the rooms. The rooms themselves are grim and ill-kept; the bathroom is worse. Ours had a broken sink and a dirty, cracked toilet. Mold was rampant. We were delighted to leave! Don't be fooled by the pictures that seem to show a delighful little hotel. It's doubtful there ever was any such delight and no one should book a room thinking that this place is going to provide it. Customer beware!

Reviewed By Jim_in_VegasThis hotel is located with-in the old city of Zhouzhuang (Postal area Kunshan) and is on one of the many canals in this old city. I was surprised to find you had to pay an admission to enter the old city and was thinking that I'd have to pay every time we wanted to leave the city as the ticket is good for one day only and we were staying 3 nights. Located next to the ticket office is another office that when you show your hotel reservation, they print your photo on the back of the ticket and you are allowed to come and go as you please. Our room was located on the second floor and took us back in time 100 years! The bathroom was added in later years and since there was no shower cabinet, when you showered the entire bathroom got wet. In fact, the old wood door was dry rotted from the wetness. The bed was hard, even by China standards, basically a thin form pad covered by a sheet. Mosquito netting surrounded the bed and most likely has not been removed for cleaning since the turn of the century. The other furnishings were early Chinese and the room had beautiful old wood windows overlooking the canal. The only staff we noted was the man at the entrance who took our payment and walked us to the room. No daily room service was provided and we had to ask for fresh towels the next day. The towel cabinet was open, so I simply help my self to towels as needed. The old TV only received a handful of Chinese stations. From what I've said in this review you might ask why I gave the hotel an excellent rating... My wife and I went to China to experience the culture and people living in China. This hotel represents China in it's purest manner. Would I stay in this hotel again? Yes. Would I stay in a similar hotel in the United States? No way! If you want to experience the China experience, this hotel is a good choice. If not, take a day tour of the city and stay at a more western style hotel.

Tranquil and cool space away from the crowds
Reviewed By LizL239We had a lovely stay in Zhouzhuang staying with Blossom Hill Seasonland over the labour day break. The simple decor and calm quiet interior was a perfect foil for the crowds that greeted us when we stepped outside. Staff were excellent and room was very comfortable and spacious. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend it as a place to stay To experience Zhouzhuang in the evening, a beautiful place.
