The southern Thailand town of Krabi serves as base camp for exploring the province of the same name, a lush region of jungles, limestone cliffs and idyllic isles floating just offshore in the Andaman Sea. Buddhist shrines still used by local monks are tucked into the chambers of the town's top attraction, Tiger Cave. The riverside pier links travelers with ferries and longboats to the best scuba diving, rock climbing and white sand beaches on the coast.

Very impressive for first time visit!

Reviewed By Voratouch

This is my first time visit at Sea Seeker Krabi Resort. Overall, the hotel look pretty new! (including my room as well). What i liked the most about this place is brakfast, if you looking for some place with decent brakfast, I personally recommend. Bed room is clean and quite during nigh time. Luky me, I got a room with big space (conner room). Only fews thing that I liked to mentioned that there is no table and chair for work (but there is a small space by the desk mirror with a tiny chair that you can sit but not comfortable)

Very modern hotel with an excellent location. Rooms were tidy and clean. The view from the balcony is beautiful (cliff view). Shops and restaurants are just around the corner. Breakfast was excellent and we had a broad variety of meals (also vegetarian options). The excellent service of the super friendly staff made our stay very pleasant! We would like to give a special thanks to the staff member at reception who was giving out the beach towels (unfortunately we do not know his name). He always provided the best service possible. We highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic Resort with terrible access !!

Reviewed By ruteshj

We were a family of 7 and stayed for 4 nights in 2 x Beach front 2 bedroom villas with a private pool. I would say this is the best property in Krabi but with a terrible access from mainland (more on this later & this is why only 3 vs 5 stars). The Villas were huge, very well furnished & maintained, fantastic views and properly taken care of by housekeeping on daily basis. The resort is beautiful with its landscaped gardens, multiple pools, a very clean private beach, beachfront dining etc. Everything is picturesque !! Some of the rooms up the hill can be quite a walk but they have buggies. I think we made the right decision to pay for beachfront villas to be on the beach. May is not peak season and Thailand is just seeing more tourists coming in. So only 1 restaurant was open with limited options, but food was quite good. The Japanese restaurant was open on Saturday and we loved the Teppanyaki, excellent chef !! If this resort was connected to Krabi by a road, I would have given 5 stars !! but the only way in is via boat or the monkey trail !!! The hotel speedboat service needs to be improved to accommodate guests, do additional runs. They seem to have 2 boats but use only 1 with hourly / 2 hr interval service to Ao Nang (nopartthara pier). Could see many angry guests who could not get a spot on the boat. Reserve well in advance but that takes away the fun of deciding something spontaneously. Or take a 1000 THB long tail each way. Also only the brave hearted would venture out in the sea after darkness. So no dinner options to go to , unless you use the monkey trail !! The jetty is made of rubber / plastic floats connected together and many of the handrails are missing. There were huge waves and the jetty bounces around dangerously. It was right in front of our villa and every time the boat came there were screams heard from terrified people !!! The hotel is waiting for an accident to happen !! They don't even bother to repair the broken center handrails !! On our way back the weather was bad and boat service was cancelled. The hotel bell boy escorted us through the monkey trail to Ao Nang, He was very courteous but the monkey trail is quite steep with few very bad steps. Its surely unsafe for the elderly, small kids and you need the right clothing (trekking). Quite strenuous option to do to & fro from Ao Nang !! If you are game for a jetty which is like a walking roller coaster without handrails or fit enough to do the monkey trail every time you want to go to Ao Nang or just want to stay a few days disconnected from the world, then this is the perfect resort. Otherwise avoid.... Would only visit again or recommend if I can see a proper concrete / wooden firm jetty installed by the hotel. I am sure they miss many repeat customers (surely us) just because of the access. Its a shame that such a beautiful resort has such terrible access....

Good but far from 5 star

Reviewed By 618gerardo

Overall, this was a very up and down weekend stay but I was quite disappointed. The hotel had been recommended to us by multiple friends so we were expecting quite high service from their recommendations and the fact that the hotel is 5star, so we were quite excited. My partner and I arrived at around 10:30pm to the hotel. We were quite hot and sweaty having traveled for about 6 hours, but there was no welcome drink which you expect in 5 star hotel and we were told about it, which didn't bother us that much. The staff were very friendly on arrival. We were brought to our 5th floor room which had not been cleaned. The lady that brought us apologized but made us wait in the hallway while she went to get a different key. After about 10-15mins, we were very thirsty as we were waiting outside in the humidity and we returned to the reception to ask for water, which was given. We were then brought to a different room on a much lower floor, which thankfully was cleaned, but the view was far different from the previous room and the TV did not work. The next morning we went to talk to the manager about moving back to our previous room, once it had been cleaned, as we paid for a room with a view. We were told "the manager is in Bangkok" and there was no other manager on duty. I was quite perplexed by this. After waiting for about 15mins, eventually the Sales Manager came to talk to us. He gave us a room upgrade to a pool access room, but never apologized for any of the poor service we received, but he was very nice and accommodating. The room was beautiful and very clean. The pool was fantastic and the views incredible. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best breakfasts I've had in Thailand. The pool bar food was also very good. The staff were very friendly. The rooftop bar does have amazing views and scenery. More service issues arose however on our first full evening. Happy hour was advertised as 4-5pm in the pool side bar and 5:30-6:30pm in the rooftop bar. We fancied a few drinks before heading out for the evening. We showed up at the poolside bar at 4:15. There was no one there. People were waiting at the pool bar but there was no staff around. We waited for over 15minutes before I went to reception to ask if the bar was open. They assured me it was as advertised. When I said there was no staff around, I was quite rudely and impatiently told by the manager (who was now back from Bangkok) "they probably just went to the bathroom if you wait they'll be back". I replied politely that I had been waiting almost 20 minutes at that point, to which he quickly changed his tone, apologized and said he would follow me out to sort it. Another few minutes went by and the bar lady came back out. She was very nice and friendly and made beautiful cocktails. At 5:30pm we were told by the bar lady that the rooftop bar was open, if we would like to continue happy hour. We went up to an empty bar and more people waiting. At this point I realized the bar lady not only had to run and clean the pool side bar and the pool bar, but she was also setting up the rooftop bar by herself. She was providing as good a service as she possibly could, but the rooftop bar was not able to serve until after 6pm, but this is definitely management's fault as they should have more then one bar staff on when there's 3 bars open. I would like to give a special mention to the concierge who booked our evening boat trip with Mr. Sukon. She was amazing and gave great service. The river cruise trip with Mr. Sukon was incredible, something different and really enjoyable! Overall, the facilities are excellent, the staff are friendly but the service isn't 5 star service and not worth the money we paid.

Absolutely Useless Bellhops

Reviewed By Emptynest_Ken

Both when we arrived, and when we left, the bellhops left us to haul our own luggage down the 1,000 foot pier. This is even worse than it sounds because the pier is made of rough shaped plastic cubes, so luggage won't roll over it. When we arrived, they knew we were coming, but weren't there. We waited in the hot sun, and eventually just did the slog by ourselves. When we left, they just dropped us off at the head of pier and quickly darted away. There was then considerable confusion and arguing among the boat captains as to who was even supposed to take us. Thanks for the help.
