Came here after recommendations on trip advisor as we fancied a change from Thai food. We asked for garlic bread, and the very obliging chef advised that he could do garlic on pizza bread which i have to say was better than bread when it arrived, lovely. My hubby had a german beer, of which there are a few to choose from, and it was good. For the food, my husband ordered the currywurst, i had the spaghetti bolognese. We've been to Germany a few times and the currywurst tasted better here in the restaurant and my bolognese was delicious. Our friend had the schnitzel...its huge and good. The price is very reasonable too. None of us had the pizza but it did look yum. The chef is great, popping out to talk to us, and the staff are polite and attentive. Nice, quiet place with good kitchen and great selection of drinks at reasonable prices (not a bargain but not overpriced either). This beergarden with jungle surroundings lies a few steps away from Phu Petra Hotel on a quiet road. It could be a roadside restaurant or an oasis in the middle of nowhere, except for it only being a ten minutes walk from the busy main street in Ao Nang. Serves lunch and dinner. Worth a visit.
