Reviewed By 222yahoo22That was my first thought, the moment i entered my room. Really great value. Much better than I expected, almost like a mini Aloft Hotel. The room was clean, spacious and cosy. AC, hot shower, hair dryer, pillow, all good and they provide toothbrush, too. Maybe they can improve on the bed linen/blanket cause I don't think it smells fresh. Towels good. I actually need to visit Alor Setar again and booked elsewhere. No second thought, I cancelled that booking and reserved another stay here.

Reviewed By SarahT6197Besides the convenient location, it didn't live up to the good reviews. Cleanliness and basic facilities such as the air-conditioning were questionable. Our blankets have stain, cups and glasses were dusty and we had to endure the noisy air-condition for the 1st night. When they changed our room the next day, they had failed to inform us - We came back to find our luggage missing. The day shift staffs were not friendly, they completely ignore anyone that walk pass the reception, no greetings or a simple smile to acknowledge. Hope the management will put in effort to improve the hotel as it does have potential. For now, we have decided that we would not come back as they are many more hotels nearby.

Good for overnight stay
Reviewed By ZM Mstop by for an overnight stay, firstly got the room on the third floor, NO LIFT, was told that due to particular online booking, room given has no lift. If you want a room with lift access, pay extra. Then the room was big, spacious but Air Conditioner was not working. Staff came over, checked, and offered change of room, one floor lower. But the funny things was that we were told to go back down three flights to reception just to get the new key. Why cant the staff bring it to us. Second room ok. but scary as the window was out of its alignment. Informed reception but again no similar rooms so had to stay put. Not sure if would like to come back. there are many hotels in town to choose from.

First boutique hotel in Alor Setar, Kedah. Located in one of the oldest town in Alor Setar, Pekan Cina. Converted from a pre-war building, a boutique hotel with old and modern design. Only 5 unique rooms in this boutique hotel which the size range from 220sqft to 400sqft.

Reviewed By NazdaWe booked this hotel as we have an early ferry trip to Kuala Perlis Jetty to catch the next morning. We booked 2 rooms including one with a balcony. The rooms were very clean with high quality linens, basic amenities and Young Living diffuser. One room had bottled plain water, the other one didn't have. But this is not an issue since they offer free local snacks and drinks from their fridge at the lobby. The toilets (including the one at the lobby) were super clean. There is no bathroom door, only curtain so if privacy is an issue you might want to book a separate room. The hotel has reserved parking spots in front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic, they offerred delicious nasi lemak, toasts and cereals. The issue here is that there is only one table with 3 chairs and one bench to accommodate all guests. During our stay the family who was sitting there took their own sweet time chatting after they were done, and ignoring the fact that other people were standing up waiting for them to leave. Some people can be inconsiderate urghhh. The hotel might want to reconsider the lobby cum dining space arrangement. I accidentally left my camera and the staff called me up to inform me and they kept the camera until I could come to collect it later. Major point there. Thank you??

Reviewed By mokhsein63Stayed for 2 weeks on business matters, very fast checked-in with very warm welcome and very nice lobby, smell aromatherapy with Kenny G instrumental music (my favourite), newspaper & magazines provided at the nice and clean lobby . This hotel consist of 2 floors shop lots but the hotel provide Clean Lobby LIFT for the guest convenience. Room very spacious with comfortable linen and 5 star bath towels. Superb amenities incl.tooth brush & tooth paste...thumbs up.. Overall are very good and definately will come back...

Reviewed By Loneranger972the moment i walked in, i couldn't help but be struck by the professional mien of the receptionist. The room itself was squeaky clean and sufficiently spacious for two. There is nothing much to nitpick except maybe the tap attached to the sink might need some maintenance work. The hotel does not come with special reserved parking but plenty of parking spots available anyway along the vicinity of the hotel. There are a number of Chinese restaurants behind the building while a Malay food stall can be found across the road. I would definitely be a patron of this hotel in the future.

Sufficient and accessible parking space. Good service. They provide prayer room for muslim to pray. Well maintain establishment. Overall very satisfied.
