Reviewed By bullockiddoLocation: easy access to all places in Kota kinabalu. it is located at the center of the kota kinabalu town. Near to Oceanus shopping mall / night market. A lot of markets / self laundry / shop / restaurant at the ground floor. Parking: provided at the basement, if you staying here and drive a car, only RM 2 per day for parking - ask receptionist regarding this. Accomodation: i had comfortable stays here despite physically the building looks dodgy and run down. the rooms equipped with complete needs. every block guarded by security at ground floor. you can request iron and microwave from the receptionist. the rooms and toilet are clean and most important things good value for money! Lift also available here. service: the reception open 24 hours. i arrived this hotel at 1am, the staff very friendly and very helpful. the housekeeping staffs clean up the room and collect the thrash everyday.

Good location, but disappointed with the cleanliness
Reviewed By TanJ_12We stayed at this apartment for 2 nights. The apartment is near to the big shopping mall called Imago. We have no problem getting Grab from apartment to the famous Welcome seafood restaurant and Philippine night market (RM5 per trip). The apartment is big enough for our family of 7 adults and 2 children. However, the room is quite dusty. I believe there are nicer and cleaner apartments nearby.

Reviewed By traveler1985_51We book this apartment due to nice pics and some good opinions on Booking.com but when we reached this place, we regret. It was bit late to change into other apartment. Very old and dirty building from the very entrance till apartment door. Ants are everywhere even around your bedroom where you sleep. Basically no way you will like anything in all Marina Court Apartments because being there we tried to see other apartments too. Different owners but dirty place. So we do not recommend anyone this whole building.

Spacious Apartment and good Location
Reviewed By alicetrip11We arrived at 6.30pm from Kundasang and Nana was there waiting for us. She helped us to take our luggage and showed us the apartment. The 3 room apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. There's a kitchen for simple cooking and a washing machine too. The beds are comfortable and the sheets and towels are very clean. The location of the apartment is perfect. It is Walking distance to the Waterfront, to the Filipino market, the wet fish market and lots of eateries nearby. Every Sunday there's a Sunday market which sells fruits, souvenirs, bags, plants, local delicacies, etc etc. Would be better if Nana can fix the shower curtains or place a floor mat in the bathroom. Will definitely recommend to friends and relatives travelling to KK

Hi Travelers, Hin Loi Guesthouse is an urban terrace house within the Tanjung Aru area. The building itself is a traditional Asian home, which incorporates a cafe on the ground floor. Our guesthouse is located on the first floor of a shophouse. It has two spacious master bedrooms with private bathroom and two twin shared rooms with shared bathroom. Basic amenities are featured in this home such as: air-conditioning, WiFi, refrigerator, satellite TV, towels, dining table, balcony, toiletries and water dispenser. The identity of our guesthouse will made clear by its furnishings and hospitality service we provide. We operate a coffee shop business on the ground floor and we are happy to provide a simple free breakfast to our guest. Terms and conditions apply. This home is ideal to families, couples, transit and group of friends.
Value and Convenience
Reviewed By Gerad CWe stayed from June 30 through July 4. We had a bedroom with attached bathroom. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast downstairs was a plus. You could easily augment your coffee and toast with the many local dishes at a reasonable price. Location is very convenient to taxi/grab. Lots of other local restaurants around, and the beach is an easy 20 minute walk away. Laundry is across the shop - you can drop off and pickup or do it yourself,Alex was there to check us in and offer suggestions. His brother downstairs was always welcoming and helpful during breakfast. Top marks for value and convenience.

Reviewed By lesliyoThe apartment is poorly maintained. Out of 2 lifts that link to the mall, only 1 was working. The door to the fire escape was locked at all time! How could that have passed the authority's evaluation?! Not only the sofas and walls were stained, but the towels we were given were badly stained too (see picture)! We ended up buying new towels to use. Out of 2 key cards for the door, only 1 was usable, and the contact person couldn't do anything about it! The laundry door knob was installed (I guess wrongly?) to be opened or locked from the outside (rather than inside)! Other that that, the location is good.

And we noticed hair dryer provided was not functioning during late night, the owner resent one immediately.. the owner is very kind whom allow to extend check out time.. Facilities: The infinite pool with sunset view is perfect. We spent 2 evenings there with joys and laughters. Even though there are shop lots below, but only a few opened. To get good food, still have to go out. Location: even though the newest Imago mall is just opposite, still need to take Grab to go over, as the building is beside main road with heavy traffic, it’s dangerous to cross the road.. Generally, good..

cheap stay but need improvements
Reviewed By AstynniaPros: 1. Huge family room. Literally can fit 6 adults. 2. Friendly, polite and helpful staffs 3. Reasonably priced (RM470 for 3 nights - family room) 4. Efficient housekeeping (can call to request for change of towel, mineral water, tea, coffee etc) 5. Central location. Walkable to town Cons: 1. I am dubious with hole in the bathroom light. (is someone sneakily peeking from upstair?) - I just covered it when showering. 2. Poor soundproof. I literally could hear footsteps walking above my head all night. 3. Basement parking is RM2 (per entry) 4. Dodgy basement (not very safe for girls). 5. Cleanliness needs improvement

Very Shabby and Poorly Equipped
Reviewed By hannahcmMarina Court is a vast complex of apartments that are under many different ownerships, but I suspect from looking at reviews that the quality is similar across the development. The location is very good and the apartments are spacious.But these are the only positive things. They are tired, shabby and nothing like the photos. Our apartment was so poorly equipped it didn't even have one glass to drink out of. There is no way you could prepare food here. Access to the apartment was difficult, via a dark covered car park, and communal areas and lift are in a very poor state. I would have felt extremely anxious coming and going if I had stayed here alone. Not recommended.
