Kulla Dula - Guesthouse

KULLA DULA is a very traditional and unique house built in the end of 18th century, a typical Albanian stone house with very thick stone walls. The house has a long and rich history and has survived many wars of the past. KULLA DULA guesthouse has also been used as a school during different wars and has historically sheltered many refugees in the past. The interior is mainly a mix of old and modern style, which makes it cool and fresh during summer and keeps it warm during winter. The sleeping room is on the 2nd floor, with one big double bed and a separate bathroom, so you can enjoy a tranquil, relaxing and comfortable stay. Kitchen is located downstairs with all its necessary utilities. Right in the front of the house you’ll find a nice park to walk around, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and see the rest of the city. In our classic guesthouse there is a front yard where you can enjoy coffee and tea and have breakfast at extra cost.

Fantastic traditional home with wonderful hosts.

We had such an amazing stay with Kulla Dula. Our hosts communicated very well, the entire house was spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfortable. We were a large group and they were very welcoming and accomodating. The warmth and friendliness of the family was very touching. Will be back again and looking forward to it.

Friendly staff but low quality accommodation

Reviewed By Liamsuzhou

The staff were very nice however the condition of the hostel was very below standard. Beds were broken, the mattresses were very old, worn and thin, toilet and shower didn't work properly, room wasn't cleaned, no towels, kitchen filthy. Again the staff were friendly but the place itself is miles below average hostel standard.

Konak Guest House

Awesome, clean and spacious place in excellent location

Reviewed By anjelicek

Shqipdona, her brother Gentian and their friend Berat were all excellent, always smiling and ready to help, young people. Place was excellent and huge, they told me with only 23 beds, 3-4 beds in a room - it felt like having a huge bedroom to yourself. All the quest there at that time were having their own bedroom and we only met in common areas, where we talked the culture, history, war...with owners. Beds were very comfortable, common areas spacious, bathrooms with baths and showers. These could do with a little bit cleaning, but at the time I was there Shqipdona was headed for a beach day to Albania and her young brother was only looking after the place. Towels were also provided. Berat, who appeared there the next day took me on the car trip to Prizren town as there was a bus strike on that day and I couldn't get there. Both morning I was prepared breakfast, omelet on the first morning and Shqipdona's speciality on the next. All in all: excellent location, amazing people and I recommend this place and will for sure be returning back.

This place has an amazing energy because of the people working there! Everyone is super friendly and happy to give advises on where to go / what to see / where to eat (don’t forget to make this question!!!). On the top of this, it’s a very clean place, with fast WiFi connection. It’s located in the most central place of Prishtina, so you have all restaurants, coffee shops, sightseeing spots in walking distance. I will definitely go back to combine with a visit at Peja ;-) Last, a great view from the balcony to enjoy!
