The hotel was spotless and stunning inside and out. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food was decent,the lunch in the restaurant by the pool was very impressive and the breakfast buffet had a lot of options to choose from. The location was another highlight,quick and easy to get into rhodes town and the restaurants in kalithea were great and perfect walking distance from the hotel. Options to relax by the pool or get involved with activities run by the excellent keko were great to have. Overall a great place to stay and we will definitely recommend.

A big big well done to Michael/ the manager who is always there making sure everything is ok, Gabriel at the pool bar also doing his job very well, the receptionist girl was very helpful all the times and all the staff in the restaurant, Christos at the Lobby bar being very nice, Nikos from Nemesis Restaurant it’s the best waiter and he knows about wine?, Angeliki, Elias, Raffael, Nikos and all the others working very hard to please everyone. The hotel is very clean and so was our room, floor was cleaned, beds made and clean towels every day. The food was fresh and very good. Every day a different theme, plenty to choose from. Very tasty watermelon ? We had a very good time. The beach is 1 minute walk perfect to burn the extra calories especially on the way back up the hill ? The entertainment wasn’t the best. The live music night was very good.? We will definitely go back. Hopefully for more days next time. Lee & the girls xx

Stavros Melathron sits on a private property of 5,500 meters. It is situated at a location known as “Reni”, in the Kallithea area. Our studio is situated within a mere 300 meters distance from Reni beach. No more than six (6) kilometers from downtown Rhodes and the main Port. Stavros Melathron lies within 18 kilometers from Rhodes International Airport (about 20 min. drive), 3 km from the well known “Kallithea Springs” Archeological site, 6 km from “Water Park” in Faliraki, 2 km from the picturesque traditional village “Koskinou”, 5 km from the Medieval Town. A comprehensive network of bus connections (bus stop 100m away) ensures frequent services to the complex, also accessible by taxi. Right in the middle of our delightful garden is, for your moments of coolness, a beautiful swimming pool to refresh you in a reflection of the surrounding flowers and trees, contributing to the peacefulness of the whole complex certain to make you relax.

Reviewed By AdrienneW536We stayed here on October 5th for a week. We had a great ground floor apartment. Cannot fault this place. Really comfortable beds. Great shower. Loads of storage. The grounds are beautiful. It was quiet when we went and so we had the choice of sunbeds. Pool is large and very clean. The beach is 5 minutes walk from here. The bus to Rhodes town goes from outside the hotel's slip road. Taxi for 4 was €10 to Rhodes town so for us it was the same cost as the bus. My sister and her husband had a leak in the bathroom and were moved to the next apartment with no fuss. The tavernas around the resort were really good and there was a lot more choice than I thought from previous reviews. We did not get a car, we felt we did not need to as we were wanting to go to places we could get the bus to. We took a boat ride from the local beach to Lindos. All in all I loved the Stavros Melathron Apartments...and would recommend with no hesitation.

Reviewed By ScottA134We arrived later in the evening after 2 flights and had the cab drop us at the Marine Gate to enter the old city. Dimitra had checked in with us along our travels to make sure we were able to find her place easily. The directions provided were simple to follow and had us navigating the warren of cobblestoned passages as if we'd lived there. I must say, Dimitra is a treasure. She met us at the Courtyard door and made us to feel at home immediately...and the Hotel was terrific. The whole facility (3 lovely rooms a court yard, a restored stairway and a sitting area..with a kitchen off the courtyard) was lovingly restored from the ancient homes it had once been. She paid particular attention to the rooms, all of which incorporated historical components with modern amenities and artistic touches. She directed us to a taverna that generally only locals frequent, and actually walked us there as we continued to chat. The food was incredible. In fact, the following day on a walking tour, our guide was asking who had eaten where the night before. When we advised him Dimitra had directed us to Pizanias', he was impressed. We returned to the Hotel and let ourselves into the Courtyard then to our room without a hitch. The aircon was delightful and the bed inviting. The next morning she prepared us a "light" breakfast that was local, authentic and satisfying. We were sad that we only stayed the one night as it was like visiting a friend...we will be back.
