Reviewed By MuraliKhRaviz ashtamudi is a beautiful place to visit. The entrance to the lobby over looking the lake is mesmerizing. The rooms were excellent, the staff very courteous and helpful. We planned our wedding here at their magnificent convention hall. Mr. Sujit was very helpful in planning our wedding and took care of all necessary work around the event. We had special requests to have events near the lakeside green space. The hotel obliged and made it possible. Our guests were awestruck at the beautiful scenery. We could take our guests on a boat ride around the lake. All in all, a very good experience with raviz ashtamudi. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. - Murali and Amrutha

Reviewed By Vijay MI always feel peaceful and homely when I stay with FN resort Kollam. The location and the way they have created cottages or rooms is amazing with lakeside and also privacy. Food service as Buffet lunch or dinner makes you feel it’s economical spending. Though I have stayed twice it’s going to be my stay place for ever when it comes in mind about Kollam visit. The front office people Renju and his team are very friendly and cooperative in terms of everything. If we can say value for money it’s Fragrant Nature.

Reviewed By Byju DWe went for lunch buffet on 22nd May 2022. The much hyped food at this hotel proved a flop for all of my family members. There was not much choice for the food items spread as expected at a five star hotel. The fish fry was tiny pieces of sardines and the fish in the curry was definitely not king fish. Other than fish one meat and two chicken dishes were there. Other than the sardines nothing else was tasty. With the same rate much better package is available in 3 and 4 star hotels in other cities in Kerala. It seems the food was prepared by some catering trainees. Hope the hotel authorities will take this review in good sense and change their attitude.

A little deceptive
Reviewed By dhanyag2015Booked for 2 nights at Hotel Dona Castle as it was a OYO hotel . We made an advance payment at the rate of Rs.2200/ night.inclusive of breakfast. The hotel is well located has ample car parking space ,a good lobby etc. The person at the reception did not have a friendly disposition and knew very little about the facilities offered. The rooms require better maintenance. No toilet tissue was provided. What was most irritating was the noise created by repair work going on. The breakfast provided was okay though there is not much variety. We are a bit disappointed with OYO taking this hotel under their logo.

We enjoyed talking with them both - excellent English - and our stay with them gave us a true insight into life in this quiet part of Kerala. We took a sunrise canoe trip with Reneeth - it was truely amazing and beautiful and we appreciated his quiet reflective demeanour. He has lived locally all his life and loves it and it’s beauty. We cycled around the island which was easy and great fun. We enjoyed two family dinners- tasty and generous and breakfast too, if you want a modest, honest experience with a local family then choose here

Reviewed By arunvarkey2001Had a wonderful time at Lake n River resort.The staff did an excellent job in seeing that the guests are kept informed and entertained,special thanks to Deba and Anchitha.The resort is decently maintained and the location is excellent .The suite room was spacious with a large balcony.The canoe trip was interesting and not one to be missed out.Food was also good.All in all it was a lovely experience.

Food available just talk to the staff they will hook u up. Board walk at the back side of the hotel. I (female) was alone there for 7 days but felt so safe with the staff. Staff was amazing. Sanal treated me like his family. I will give 100/100 for the service. I can't wait to go back. I realy enjoyed fishing. staff was so generous to make arraignment to cook the fish that I caught . Very clean. Close to Munroe island.
