Do not eat at his establishment! Food was inedible! I have only ever given positive feedback on Trip Advisor however, I feel compelled to submit this review as my experience was purely and simply unacceptable. Complained to waitress who was disinterested and shrugged her shoulders in response to our complaints about the raw food.If you only give positive feed back on TripAdvisor how is this your FIRST review?

The Fizzy Tarte is all about treating yourself - or someone else. A carefully considered selection of beers, wine, Champagne and cocktails will be on offer together with light bites - ideal for long lazy lunches that stretch right out into the evening. At
Fantastic food. Sandwiches very fresh and all fillings were extremely tasty. A nice variety of cakes. We were served by Flori who, despite being busy, catered to our every need. We asked for plain scones in advance so, if you are not a fan of fruit scones, ask when you book. A selection of hot and cold drinks available as part of the afternoon tea was a nice extra (different to tea and coffee). Cafe-Bar in the heart of Kendal, serving locally sourced home made food - famed for our pulled pork & homemade BBQ sauce, slow cooked beef chilli, soups & breads, home roasted meats, and of course Karen's famous cakes.
This is a really enticing looking cafe in Kendal town center. The local market was on and we decided to call in for drinks and cake for a break. Karen's chocolate & beetroot cake was one of the nicest we have ever had, absolutely delicious and so moist.Good coffee (latte) and, what I assumed was the owner, was a very welcoming and friendly chap.

Spanish-inpsired cafe/ restaurant, serving breakfast and lunch. Tapas, sandwiches & soups, freshly baked cakes & pastries. Atkinson coffee and loose teas Spanish wines, gins & craft beers Sit-in or takeaway.
Came here a few weekends ago with my friends for a late breakfast/early lunch. On arrival there was no âhelloâ or acknowledgment from the members of staff so we seated ourselves. The menu seemed a little bit confusing but we soon worked things out and decided what weâd like to eat. It took a while for someone to take our order, even though the restaurant didnât seem overly busy, though the waiter who did come to our table eventually was lovely. The food arrived and we couldnât fault it, I would recommend the pancakes they were amazing! When our plates were cleared the waitress didnât offer a smile or asked if everything was okay with our food and it took us a while again to be acknowledged when we wanted to pay and once leaving no âThank youâ or âGoodbyeâ was given. Amazing food, not the best service.

The Country Hut in Bowness-on-Windermere is a cafe/cocktail and wine bar set in the heart of the beautiful Lake District, just two minutes walk from Lake Windermere, that specialises in amazing cocktails, meats and/or cheese, coffee and wine and pride our
We'd originally planned to visit the Easy Breeze but despite stating online that it's open 11am to midnight, they were putting the tables out when we arrived and were opening for the football later!!My friends had previously visited the Country Hut and enjoyed it. It was quiet, early evening, but the young lady serving was friendly and made some decent cocktails. The Rum Punch did pack a punch, you could really taste the alcohol, not always the case.I'd like to revisit when it's buzzing.

The Crafty Baa Craft / Belgian/Craft beer fine wines Charcuterie Cheese Slates
We came here twice during our stay in Windermere and loved it. The owners were super friendly and even recognised us! As well as all the ales and beers to try thereâs great wine and delicious cheesy dishes - we tried the baked Camembert and the 3 cheese toastie - both delicious! Also loved the free bar nibbles and soda water that just kept coming :) the only tiny bit of feedback is that there isnât much on the menu for veggies - a few more non meat options would be the icing on the already very tasty cake! Thank you!
