Big menu where you will be most satisfied. Traditional dishes from Naxos. Try the lamp cooked for hours in the oven.... Ask if they have fresh fish to order. The service is very good and the guys - owners are fery friendly and welcoming! Recommended for sure!

I like the restaurants that have a small menu with 10 -15 dishes. That usually means that quality is good. I really liked the food but could not stand the loud Greek music in such a serene atmosphere.

Located right on the enge of the Cedar forest on the southwest side of the island. We are open from noon serving garden fresh salands, delicious starters, home made cheese, traditional dishes, fresh fish and much more Naxian food! Nice surroundings. This place proved to be a mixed bag. Not all dishes on menu were available. Two out of three starters ordered were very good, and three out of four main courses were very good. Hummus was rather tasteless, lamb chops looked dry and tasted like they had been reheated. Fries were one of the best we've had on Naxos. Dessert cheesecake was 'to die for', and walnut pie was good. Service was good. Price was reasonable.

The food was very good, the service was also good but I wouldn't say it was worth all the reputation around it. The grilled figs were delicious. They also do a lot of interesting things with eggplants. Something that was unpleasant was the yellow lighting all over the place. Definitely a great choice but not the best on the island.

Just behind the dunes of Parthenos beach, south of Kontos Rest., is another star of Mikri Vigla - Salteris Giorgos Cafe. ( I beleive the entrance sign reads Stellio's Cafe ) As you approach the patio from the large parking area, the beautiful landscaping welcomes you into a mini-oasis of relaxation and great food. Take your pick of an outdoor table or one in the enclosed patio area - both have great sunset views. The service was fast and very friendly. The menu has a wide variety of Greek and Mediterranean dishes and wonderful home-made desserts. We tried the cucumber salad, sausage, chicken souvlaki, and spaghetti - all very good and for very reasonable prices ( on both our visits the bill - for 2, including drinks - was less than E30. ) Definitely worth a visit for a relaxing, enjoyable meal by the sea.

After some hours spent exploring the close-by Cedar Trees Area, we needed food/drinks and a bit of shadow. We found this nice tavern, where, in a friendly atmosphere, we got good "fuel" to re-establish our forces and get ready for the afternoon activities.

We had a very nice meal,we hadn't booked and they found us a table upstairs.The pasta meals where huge and the pizzas where delicious.we found the meal quite reasonable.service was good also.
