Reviewed By jasonbroomerAll the rooms are decorated and designed to a very high grade. The owners clearly have an eye for detail and make sure the staff ensures that everything is correctly placed. Very relaxed feeling and nice smells emanating from the spa. The breakfast is yummy and the selection is refreshed on a daily basis. Staff are friendly. A short walk from the port (don’t take the most direct route if you wish to avoid some steps). Again, restaurants and beach are a minute walk away. We also hired a car for a day to explore Sifnos, probably a worthwhile investment if you are here for a few days. George is charm personified, even by Greek standards. My wife would have given six stars and if George proposed, I’d be dumped on the spot.

The Hotel Boulis is directly on the sand in the middle of Kamares beach, with the rare advantage of being in a quiet, rural area away from the main road, yet only a few minutes walk to bus stops, shops, ceramic workshops, etc. The rooms at the Boulis hotel are clean and comfortable, each containing: private bathroom and balcony or veranda, refrigerator, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV and direct dial telephone. Our bistro-style "Kafenés" is a quiet corner in the hotel garden courtyard offering distinctive mezedes and delicious full meals, home-cooked using local products.

Reviewed By VAGGYPARStayed here for three days in May this year for the first time.Great choice...lovely hotel with big rooms with high ceilings and literally 10 seconds from the beautiful Kamares beach..Lynne and her daughter at reception absolutely fantastic ladies, so friendly, polite and helpful.. I had a fabulous room overlooking the beach with a gorgeous balcony and outstanding views.. Hotel is a out 2 mins walk from Kamares Port with all the Tavernas and Bars there..Prices, particularly considering the unique location of the hotel, are very reasonable indeed..Rooms are quite big and surprisingly quiet...Overall a fabfabulous choice and my to go to place from now on every time I visit Sifnos..Excellent all around..

An excellent small hotel
Reviewed By Cheryl JWe stayed here for 5 days recently and were extremely pleased with all aspects. The owners were friendly and helpful and picked up our bags from the ferry. Breakfast was very good with a good choice of fresh fruit salad, cold meats, cheeses, cakes fresh orange juice, filter coffee etc. The hotel is a short but easy walk from the town where there are lots of restaurants and there are buses to Appolonia in order to start walks although taxis are cheap and plentiful. Sifnos is an excellent island for many varied and pretty walks as well as enjoying the beach.

Located 250 metres from the nearest beach in Kamares, Froudi offers air-conditioned accommodation with Aegean Sea view from their balcony. Built on an elevated position, it features a flowered sun terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Featuring simple furnishings and tiled floors, all rooms include a TV, mini fridge and electric kettle. The private bathroom is fitted with a shower. Guests can find a mini market and restaurants at 200 metres from Froudi Rooms. The port of Kamares is at 500 metres and the main town of Apollonia 5 km away. Free, private parking is possible on site.

Reviewed By George YSifnos is a Cycladic island just 3 hours from Piraeus and it was our holiday choice for this summer. We couldn’t find accommodation in Apollonia, the capital and main town of the island where many restaurants, bars and shops are located and everybody goes at night, so we booked in Kamares, the main port and also the location of the biggest sandy beach of the island. Having read all the reviews our expectations were really high and I can tell you for sure that we were not disappointed in the least. First of all, the location is fantastic, just 200 hundred meters from the beach. The catch is that it is uphill from the town to the hotel. But when you get there the view compensates. We asked for a triple room with a view, and what a view we had indeed. Actually, most of Froudi rooms have a great view I think, but ours was looking over the port, the beach and the town, but most importantly we enjoyed one of the most beautiful sunsets every evening. Furthermore, the room was spacious, decoration was simple and pleasant and it had a nice balcony with chairs, a table and a retractable clothes rack. All the necessary amenities were included, such as air condition, fridge, small sink and a closet that we wish was bigger cause there was not enough space for all of our clothes. The bathroom was not very big, but it was elegant, pretty and up to date as it had been recently renovated. Cleanliness was impeccable too. Housekeeping every day, change of towels every two days and sheets every three. Last but not least the owners, Stathis and Margie, were wonderful people and great hosts! Don’t hesitate to ask for anything, they are eager to help at all times. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and we certainly recommend Froudi. Perfect place, great location, incredible views.

Best choice for you stay in Sifnos!

It's really close to the port in Kamares (walking distance) but at the same time as far as needed to be peaceful. There is also parking for your car. The owner and his family are friendly and hospitable people. He came to pick us up from the port and he also gave us bottled water to have during our stay there. In general, it is really value for money and I totally recommend it!!

Simeon and his partents made us feel very welcome and worked hard to make sure we had a wonderful time on the island. The apartments are in easy reach of shops, tavernas and the fabulous beach. There is a good bus service although we enjoyed hiring a car for a few days to travle around the island. We hope to be able to stay at the apartments again (this was already our second visit) .

The Hotel Kamari is a small family run hotel in the port of Kamares. The newly renovated, spacious rooms each have a sea view or mountain view balcony, air-conditioning, bathroom, refrigerator, TV with satellite channels, wifi, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries and a hair dryer. The sandy beach of Kamares is 3 minute walk away and there is an excellent choice of tavernas and cafes around the sea front.
Great traditional Greek hotel in excellent location
Reviewed By WillappHotel Kamari was recommended to me by a previous guest and I'm very grateful to have chosen it. The location is excellent, just a few hundred metres from the port in Kamares - far enough not to feel crowded by the other accommodation, restaurants and few bars that occupy the resort centre. The rooms are pretty basic and very typically Greek, but clean and furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a full kitchenette. I didn't pay extra for the sea view, but I can imagine it's pretty nice being able to see the sunset from the small balcony. The hotel offers free coffee to all guests during the day from a self-service machine near reception. The staff are very friendly, I think it's a family-run business and you can tell from the care and attention they have to all guests. Given the low prices too, it's hard to fault this hotel and I would definitely stay here again when I next visit Sifnos.

Brilliant budget stay within walking distance of the port and blue flag beach
Reviewed By louisebezLovely hotel situated within walking distance to Kamares Port and opposite the Blue Flag Kamares beach. Absolutely loved my stay at Afroditi Hotel! I arrived very early and staff were fantastic at helping me check in and allowing me to leave my luggage as the room were not ready yet. When returning, they had kindly carried it up to my room and were always helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room was perfect for a single traveller or for a couple and had a small balcony with a drying rack, perfect for drying swimwear after a day at the beach. Breakfast was delicious and they followed Covid regulations really well. I loved my stay at Afroditi Hotel and can’t recommend it highly enough if you are looking for a lovely, relaxing holiday in Sifnos.
