Relative to the other restaurants in the centre Batalogianni offers somewhat more simple food. What they served tasted well. The kalamaria came without fries and the rice with the meatballs was somewhat dry. The terrace is off the Main Street and offers a quiet place to eat with a view to Meteora pinnacles. Appetizers, main dishes, wine and free desserts for 2 for less than 30 euro.

Recommendation from a local who knows the owner. Normally, I would be wary of taking this kind of recommendation, but here, everyone seems to know everyone else so...The food was delicious but what I really appreciated was our server's honesty. We asked him at the beginning about what to order and how much, and he looked us over and told us to remove a couple of dishes from our order because it would be too much food and those specific dishes were not as good as the other things we had chosen.Another good sign: as my friend and I were leaving at around 10 pm, we noticed that the restaurant was getting pretty full with locals. If you're wondering where to eat, this is a good choice.

This restaurant is situated opposite the camp site on the main road up to the monasteries and should not be missed. The food is excellent and is very reasonably priced. In fact, if you stay at their apartments, San Giorgio Villas, you will receive a discount. We had salad, stuffed peppers and tomatoes, tzatsiki, bread, water, beer and wine for under â¬25 euros. The food was so good we went back the following night and had the chicken souvlaki. Itâs on the bone, but cooked beautifully. Each meal was followed by a complimentary dessert of melon and a shot of tsipouro. The staff are very friendly and the owner made a point of spending time having a chat. All in all, a very good two meals.

We came spontaneously dropping by and were surprised by both panorama and quality of food. Great compliments for both grillmaster and Service. A dessert on the house rounded it all up. Thks a lot!

This shows as the number 1 restaurant in Kalambaka, which is why we sought it out. Have to say that we were disappointed. The location is not great! There are about four tables along the pavement on a reasonably busy road. The choices were limited. It really does feel more like a pub that offers food rather than a restaurant. Having dined at Meteora the previous evening and had a lovely experience I feel that we should have gone back there! Donât feel that this one deserves to be number one!

There is not a lot of items on the menu, but the food is pretty good. The wife felt that she had the best mousaka since we arrived in Greece. The pork fillet, grilled peppers, and the white beans are all very tasty indeed. The waiters are nice and helpful.

The restaurant is located inside Kalabaka. You can park right next to the restaurant (on top of a small hill), or in a dirt parking lot right near by. Food and service were very good, and the views of the cliffs above are very impressive.
