If you're shopping in Kashmir (pashmina, woodcrafts, dry fruits and spices) take Nazir bhai's advice for best rates to pay. Great companion and makes delicious food at home! PS: Tourism runs in his family, he's got good contacts for Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam

Reviewed By dad98253I stayed at the Lucky Kashmir (HB 314) in fall of 1978. It looks a lot different now. But, I recall it as an amazing experience. It was cold and overcast, but we had a nice warm stove and great food! If I remember correctly, I think there was a short wave radio in the sitting room. It was great to tune into BBC. There was no internet back then and you were lucky if you could find a Time magazine that was less than a month old. I would love to return to check it out the New Luck Kashmir. If only this darn Covid thing would end!

No facility and very poor services
Reviewed By Shilpa JWe stayed there for two nights. The property location is very good but service is extremely poor. The staff is untrained, very rude, and not available most of the time. They denied to serve us food and breakfast. Hot water was not available. Basics like fresh towels, room cleaning, were not available. The reception area is very unhygienic and never cleaned. The owner is least interested to provide hospitality to the customer and is money minded.
