During the slower off season period, and also for family reasons, Bar Italia is closed on some weekdays, and so check in advance if you are thinking of staying here. Generally open on weekends as usual.

After hiking to Alpe Di Spessola on a Sunday we decided to stop in to Ristorante Poldo for a late lunch. Earlier we had seen cars surrounding the place and by the time we returned there were literally crowds of folks enjoying the afternoon outside. Indications we were in for a treat! We were met by the owner who quickly set us at a table. It was clear dining was winding down, but we felt welcomed. We were provided a translation of the menu and four of us proceeded to share an anti-pasta and three pasta dishes. Pizzocheri, spagetti with a meat ragu, and cheese filled ravioli with bacon. More than enough for hungry hikers. The atmosphere was celebratory, families talking, kids playing. Service excellent and prices fair. This seemed like a place to enjoy an afternoon with a large group.

I came here to this amazing town with such a good surrounding around, atmosphere and I got to this place and before to came In, the waiter gave us a such a good welcome, MARCO itâs such an amazing and kind polite man, he made me had a good time in this restaurant, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING I HAD a vegetarian Lagsana OMG and the caprese salad guys RECOMMENDED A 100%. thanks a lot for your good service. We spent five nights in Nesso and we had gelato at least once a day every day we were here. Perfect temperature and creaminess. Very satisfied!

A fantastic and friendly local bar and shop with great service. Start the day with quality coffee and croissant, buy some supplies in the attached shop and hang out and enjoy the local vibe in the heart of a beautiful village, 100 hundred meters from an ancient church .(located in NessoâVicoâ.)Highly recommend for lunchtime and evening drinks,snack.really good choice of drinks , even de-caff cappuccino for those who want to sleep!The owners speak English too.Highly recommend for a authentic local experience.

They treat tourists like *h*t, because they know they don't come back anyway.We were first in the queue and two groups of Italian speakers came and were given table. We asked the only nice (young girl) worker why this happened, and forwarded the question. The reply was that those people had reservation. That was an obvious lie since the restaurant was full and that table just got free.After getting the table it took forever to be served. Finally we ordered the food, that felt promising. 10-15 minutes later the waitress came to tell that they ran out of the dishes we ordered. And it turned out pretty much all the dished they had for main dishes. So we had to order whatever random they had left.. This was half way of the lunch time...Food wasn't that good. Just normal. One of the first meals of the whole trip I would say.As a summary, AVOID.

Millesimo Enoteca is a very beautiful bar located in Via Reggina, in the lakeside of Lago di Como, in the North of Italia. It iss very well-decorated. Really it is a place to relax on the terrace, drink one or two glasses of wine, see the beautiful views of the lake and talk about something with friends. We came here and drank a wine of the region (from Sondrio, 100kn far away) and some cheaps. Pitifully, they only has one red wine and one white wine by glasses from here. Also, we areived here when it was rainning a lot, so we can not relax a lot. Probably, the next time!

You can tell that you are close to Swizerland since there almost no places to eat. We tried at least five restaurants which were all closed. At last, we found this one and had a nice plattet of salami and prosciutto.
