Darbe Bagh Residence

A historic house of some hundred years Saraye darbe bagh is situated in the Kashan old district. It was recently restored to its original majesty and converted into a boutique residential hotel.A very traditional breakfast is offered every day with potential for gussets to reserve luncheons or dinners all of which are prepared in traditional Kashan cuisine. Darbe Bagh guesthouse is the result of nearly two years of painstaking love and care of many artisan Kashan restoration expert. It was built approximately a hundred years ago as residence for Haj Agha Doroodgar. After his death the house fell in disuse for over twelve years during the course of which it suffered extensively. When we bought it there was probably no more than one year of life left in it. Our aim and mission was to restore it as closely as possible to its original form and structure. We believe we have been true to our mission of bringing back to life this National Heritage of ours. Under the guiding and expert supervision of Memar Helli and daily super human efforts of his son Eng. Javad Helli and guidance of our patron Mrs. Zarrabi we have brought back to life yet another one of our national heritage. We dearly love this home; the individual hand designed and hand made tiles in the bathrooms, over nine month of painstaking plaster work, the rooms and yard brick surface and extensive search for room lights and so on, represent the exhaustive work of many workmen. We hope you enjoy your stay and appreciate this small example of our beloved Iranian Heritage. Please let us know how we can improve our services.

Spactacular hospitality

I’ve been visiting kashan for the first time as a tourist. This traditional cozy house with a very peaceful atmosphere made me feel fascinated during the trip. It's located in the middle of historical places in Kashan near the bazar. Ms chenani is one of the most friendly and helpful person that I've ever met. Special thanks to her? And of course I highly recommend this place for who is looking for a peaceful hotel with high polite and very kind staff.

What a beautiful stay in Varzaneh thanks to the Negaar Hostel. I think going to Varzaneh is a good chance to experience life in Iran away from the tourism Hotspots ... But still, the guesthouse offer a great plethora of activities, so you will not get bored! The Guesthouse is perfectly located - there is a direct bus to Isfahan but also a convenient way to get back to Tehran. All kudos to such friendly hosts - Mr Mohammed and his wife, kind, nice and humble people that you want to be around with. I have also taken a class on Persian medicine and was super amazed with Mr Mohammed's knowledge on the subject. The place itself have spacious and very clean rooms. Breakfast is very tasty and you can also order some home made food for lunch or/ and dinner. Home away from home ;-)

Iranian House

The Irani House aging more than 250 years, is located in the Kooshk-e-Safi quarter, one of the oldest quarters of Kashan. The 1000m² house, which is constructed on the "flower bed ditch" model, is in fact the exterior part of an immense house which lost its interior part and other annexes over time. After seven successive years of strengthening, restoring and remodeling, this house has emerged as one of the rare traditional residences which have been restored according to scientific and technical principles. In order to preserve the original architecture and flow of life in this edifice, it has been repurposed as a residence complex for tourists in the form of five different residential spaces including the "Upper House", the "Veiled House", the "Hidden Chamber", the "Resting House" and the "Private Chamber" along with other facilities provided in the "Mirror Hall", the splendid "Parlor", the "Banquet Hall", the "Beverage Room" and the "Cistern Cellar" to serve those who have chosen Kashan as a travel destination. The Iranian House is a remarkable living example of the forgotten Iranian culture and art for the young generation. The edifice embraces an extensive collection of delicate artistic detail which, together with the cellars, the three door chambers, the five door mirror hall, stained-glass windows, and its magnificent stuccos, mirror works, and paintings have turned the building into a museum of the works of Kashan's great masters of art. Such a building could serve as a pattern and sample for younger architects as well as students of this field. No need to say that one should not be looking for a modern hotel facility in the Iranian House. All effort has been made in order for the passion of life to flow in the veins of this House. The main goal of the host is to turn your stay into a memorable experience; that of a banquet at your own home, the "Iranian House".

“Korsi” experience in cold winter nights in the Iranian House

Reviewed By minavana

We go back to the Iranian House from time to time as it has already become our true home in Kashan but last week we had a different unique experience. We spent the night under “Korsi” which is a low table with a heater underneath and a big blanket over it. It’s a traditional item in Iranian culture. The idea is to spend long cold winter nights together and enjoy each other’s accompany and warmth. The Korsi in the room “Pardesaraa” is set exactly in its original way, comfortable and practical. We highly recommend you to experience an Iranian traditional winter night in there.

Well-managed hotel in central Yazd

Reviewed By HNF-01

We were shown the room before we paid. The room was on the top floor with the balcony where breakfast is served and where people chill out in the evenings. The room had a good double bed with an overhead window "to watch the stars", unfortunately the night was totally dark. There was an extra foldable bed/armchair and a small table with chair. The room had a fridge, a mosquito killer and functional AC which we chose not to run overnight, rather opened the windows. There were several power sockets. Bathroom was clean with an European toilet and a fully functional shower. You can make free tea any time in the hotel kitchen. Breakfast comes with fried eggs. These two amenities are not usual in Iran. Staff is helpful and arranged a Persepolis tour with a good driver for a reasonable price.
