Ate at Massa Steaks and Seafood restaurant last night whilst on holiday in Kalamaki. Absolutely delicious food! We had a potato, mushroom and bacon starter with some saganaki then lamb kleftiko for main and a chicken massa. It was all hot, well seasoned and the whole experience was fantastic. A quaint eatery just off the main strip on the way to the beach. Take a peek around the back at the beautiful wedding venue too cocktails were great too at 4⬠for 500ml! A real hidden gem!

I wish there was a âgoodâ rating on trip advisor as I felt it was better than average but not very good.The food was quite nice, I had the pizza and my girlfriend had pasta. We had the croquettes to start and the mozzarella sticks which were fantastic. We ordered sangria also which came in a giant glass which was quite cool and was very tasty.I have given it three stars because I think they could do a bit more with the ambience of the restaurant, there was not really an atmosphere nor was the exterior or interior particularly pleasant, it certainly was not dirty though it just lacked character.I did go to the toilet once and the waiting staff were smoking cigarettes indoors in close proximity to the kitchen which I thought was wrong, I donât have a problem with smoking but in a restaurant the staff should be smoking outside. Period.In addition the service seemed to get worse as the meal went on, one of the waiters ended up chatting to one of his friends for a good 10 minutes outside rather than pay attention to the customers, in the end I gave up and ordered another drink myself at the bar. There seemed to be a lack of leadership there, with no one really focusing on the customers.Donât get me wrong the food was good! I just felt some of the basics were missing. If I was reviewing the restaurant purely on food alone, it would have got 4 stars.Dear Sir, I remembered your table when you mentioned the sangria Glass. In Greece, we are a bit more free than on other countries. As you say âperiodâ. The story about the bar is a lie, as a store we do not have a barman or barwoman on the 9th september that you visited. We were only two people serving, so your story does bot stand very well. The thing is that in Greece, the service is very casual and friendly. Even in high end restaurants. Probably, you need a waiter which is overattentive, asking you about things and chit chatting with you. That is not something we do. We are here for food and gastronomy. The interior/exterior decor is an up to taste matter, therefore it is respected by all of us. But you are in front of the sea and the yachts, what else do you need?!

First time in here but it was excellent. My wife is coeliac and they looked after here gluten free need extremely well.We like many Kalamaki restaurants but we will visit here more often next time.

We arrived in Kalamaki late (around 10pm), and this was the first place we went to for food. We were welcomed with open arms, even though it was quite late. The staff made such an effort to chat to us, ask where we were from etc and made us feel really welcome. The food was absolutely amazing, so we booked to go back for the Greek night on the Wednesday. The Greek night was incredible! So much fun! We ate from the buffet which was beautiful, drank lots of Greek wine & danced for hours! We literally danced all round the restaurant, in the street and on the tables! Amazing night! They really are one big happy family and they make you feel so welcome. Sometimes even if we were just walking past they would run outside to say hello, throw their arms around you and give you a kiss & a cuddle - genuinely made us feel like friends â¤ï¸. Came back to this place after 2yrs. Wasnt too impressed the 1st time but friends wanted to try so we gave it another go. They sorted us out with a table for 10 easily. The last time we ate here I had a pasta dish as it feels mainly Italian based food but was determined to give their greek food a go. Me and doris had the pork gyros which just tasted like smoky bacon bits on a plate with pita bread quarters and salad. So i still wasnt impressed! Majority of rest of party had pasta dishes which are usually bulletproof but one dish came and tasted of just pasta with basil....very bland I'm told. So overall my opinion is if you want Italian food you'll probably be ok here but for greek food there are a lot better places to eat
