Great food, a little pricey, surprised at the modern dining area at the back. Lovely waitress service. On a windy cool night my wife said that it would have been nice to have had some shawls on offer to put around her shoulders as we werenât expecting that the evenings weather inclement. Also for the price that we were paying it would have been nice to have linen napkins rather than paper which just kept blowing away in the wind! It would have been five stars otherwise.Great Quinoa and smoked salmon salad and Tuna tartare starters. In fact the starters were so good, that we would have liked to have had some more for our main courses..

We ate as a family of six (adult kids). The staff were very friendly and welcoming, We had a few starters to share - they added in some really delicious garlic bread which was slices of bread topped with garlic, cheese and tomato which had been cooked in an oven, I think. Five of us opted for the specials of the day and were really pleased with them. The sixth, a non-meat eater had the mixed fish which she enjoyed. We drank beers and local wine. After asking for the bill, we were given a plate of fresh fruit pieces to share which was appreciated. The bill came to â¬143. It certainly merited the tip we added on.

And had really good meals shared with the local cats on both occasions.This place has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with the tables spread over a crossroads in the walkways of Gaios.Food and service were excellent with cheap house wine.Customers were tourists, locals and boat crews.Food is excellent and served with a smile.

We loved the outlook of the bar and the amazing alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktail selection. The staff were lovely and even though we had one drink each, the next day they remembered us what we had to drink and offered suggestions for another tipple. Very chilled atmosphere and we would recommend this place as it is out of the hustle and bustle of the main square.

So where to go in a place packed with restaurants and the best ingredients swimming in front of your eyes? Let's try this place...oh my god! From anchovies "spatchcocked" then marinated in vinegar and spices, prawns cooked in ouzo (though the description gives the sauce scant justice), tender Calamares and spicy Bourdeto, charming service and a view to die for....the only question is how many times will we return in our remaining twelve days?!

We came here last year and it was fantastic! It has obviously changed hands and was the worst meal we have had while touring Greece. The service was ok apart from when the request to adjust a dish was refused. We ordered off the menu exactly and the pasta was undercooked which when we complained was told that is how Italians like it! Well I am sorry but Italians would not eat dried packet penne and if they did they would want it al dente not undercooked. I cannot believe how disappointed we all were it was totally over priced rubbishSarò breve.Io, mio marito e lo chef abbiamo chiesto diverse volte se potevamo offrire di nuovo la pasta più cotta... avete risposto più volte "no stiamo bene così" ...Sarebbe stato sufficiente accettare la nostra proposta ... saremmo stati più contenti sia noi sia voi.La sincerità ... tutto qua.In merito all'atmosfera del locale ... essa è la stessa dello scorso anno... We went on a Friday night (buffet night) as a family of 11. Absolutely gorgeous! The food was lovely, great selection of wines, brilliant service. The setting was magical, lights and lanterns scattered around the garden which really gave it a relaxed and romantic feel as the sun went down. There was live music too, which really just topped it all off. Would advise booking for the buffet, especially if you are a larger group.Thank you for a lovely evening, we will be sure to return again.

All in all an ok place, average. Quality of food here is sub par other places we have explored in the area. Itâs definitely a spot popular with tourists who come off the boats - handy for that purpose. Bread was dry, half the calamari must have escaped the net as the portion was humble, they didnât have various items from the menu, including any of the desserts. A friendly waitress. To note: this is a cash only place, luckily we had some cash on us otherwise weâd be swimming it back to the mainland.

We had:- 2 white martinies: Tiny (for the price) and served without grace 2/5- 1 octopus apeticier: I could be wrong but it tasted and looked like canned brine octopus. 1/5- 1 Squid: We ordered it parsil and garlic but it came stuffed with rice instead. The squid was okish (a tad too chewy) but the worst part was the awful, inexplicable, rice stuffing. Any three delights frozen rice you cook at home will taste better than this one. 2/5- Meatballs in red sauce: Finally a hit. Delicious and accuratelly priced, I wish we would had just 3 rations of this. 4.5/5All in all just a very expensive meal related to the quality received. Uninspired staff. Great red sauce though.

If you are looking for something extra this is a good choice.Lovely setting overlooking the southern entrance into Gaios. Good service, friendly people. Our second time here, the first was 3 years ago.Really glad we returned. Lovely food. She had sea bass risotto, I had lamb keflika. Thankfully no French fries served!Cost is a bit more, but still cheap as. Their house wine very good, esp the red.
