Reviewed By Joe YFor the occasion of our 15 years anniversary in June 2022 we decided to celebrate it at Grecotel Margo bay at Halkidiki, Greece, it us our pleasure to share in details our experience at this marvelous esteem hotel. ● As soon we entered the hotel we were recieved and greeted with a smile from Ms. Vefa the front desk manager, Vefa and Mr. Lazaros, and Mr. Micheal at the front desk officers who were following continuously our accommodation status concerning comfort and well being. ● Immediately we met Mrs. Sandy the customer relation manager who worked too hard to make our stay so comfort and full of excitement and surprises, I believe this lady is your professional guide and support to any request and inquiries inside and outside of the hotel. ● We booked a full week with half board, Breakfast was so delicious, rich and tempting with many varieties of hot, cold, fresh Juices, seasonal fresh fruits, pastries, and on demand cooking station. Dinner buffet, was another story, as many and much varieties of cold, hot dishes, includes fish, lamb, beef, sea food plenty of fresh salads, fresh fruits and fresh pastries, each night most of the menu are happening in different flavours and tastes. I here want to thank all the staff from the ladies who make the preparation and display of the buffet, insuring that not one single item is being missed from the counters, As for the service it was amazing, as all our requests were implemented in seconds, I would like here to thank Mr. Georgios Tegos and his lovely wife Liana, and all their team who was working very efficiently, to meet all our requests. In conclusion our stay was absolutely great full of excitements, all the staff and personnel of the hotel works as a team with one target to make the customers happy and enjoy their stay. Never the less, we would like to also thank Mr. Jemmy the front beach in charge with many talents, who was doing a great Job, Antonous, and Nikos at the the club Turquoise restaurant, we hope we didn't forget any person. Finally, a FIVE Stars for the Hygiene and cleaning of the hotel as you move around you can find antibacterial dispensers. I forgot to mention the infinity pool and the white sand beach which were much tempting continuously, We should also and important to mention the quality of the hotel guests were amazing, they help in making your vacation a memorable one. If you are planning to visit Halkidiki, and looking for great hospitality and comfort, you should definitely select staying at Gercotel Margo Bay . Lovely apartments but a few complaints
Reviewed By Traveler630591Me and my partner stayed here for a week. The apartment we stayed in 259 was beautiful. Really clean and everyday when we put the hanging sign out for the room to be cleaned they were always clean- fresh bedding and towels. However, they did not clean or replace cutlery which was used . Ie cups and glasses. We had a kettle also, however there was no coffee or tea bags. We went down to the reception to ask and we could see come tea bags in the restaurant areas and we asked if we could have some and the man behind reception acted like he didn’t know what we was on about and said no basically and was very blunt. The swimming pool and surrounding area is lovely and the food is really nice. However, one of the days we sat around the pool and we had a can of coke which we brought with us and a member of staff came over and told us we could not have this and all drinks have to be purchased at the bar. You can’t even bring your own drinks or water to the pool. So we went to the local supermarket and bought some water bottles and filled them up with our own cocktails as cocktails also at the bar are €10 each!!! And watered down!! The town is literally a two minute walk and everything is within close reach. There are beautiful restaurants with lovely food. Greek people are so friendly and nice too! If you stay here in Hanioti I recommend you book an excursion especially BLUE LAGOON it was AMAZING. You go on a pirate ship and you got around the he coast and visit 3 different beaches and they stop so you can swim in the water and swim to the beach. The man who own the boat is very funny and witty and makes the experience very funny! It’s €38 and you also get lunch on the boat too. I think apart from the downfalls of the staff and legislations Hanioti is a beautiful place and the hotel is placed in the perfect spot! Also please book the superior apartments as if you book the standard which we neatly did as it wasn’t clear you get the old rooms which a very dated. There is different parts of the hotel which is new and old.

The staff ensure that you are well looked after and provide table service for food and drinks whether you are by the pool or at the beach. They really work hard in this hotel and all are super friendly! The breakfast was lovely everyday and the food to order was just as nice here as anywhere else in hanioti. The service is amazing. The evening meals weren’t as popular with our children but that because our children our fussy so we ate out 6 of 7 nights but the meals to order the children loved. Our room was well equipped and the hotel Is in a perfect location to walk into the square on an evening. The beach is lovely and the service is just as good at the beach as it is anywhere else in the hotel. You will Probably need water / beach shoes for the beach as quite stoney but otherwise lovely. Overall a fab time and we were made to feel so welcome. The lads working the bar and bringing out the food worked non stop in the immense heat as did all of the other staff. We would come back here. My only criticism is the seating around the pool could really do with sun loungers rather than the reclining deck chair type seats otherwise you are constantly sunning the front of you to have a sunlounger you need to go to the beach which my children always wanted to be in the pool. We have had a lovely time here at this hotel and would definitely think about coming back

Nikiforos Village is an excellent choice for travellers visiting Hanioti, offering a budget friendly environment alongside many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay. Our resort can be the ideal destination for couples in love, rooms at Nikiforos are very comfortable, offering air condition, free WiFi and parking place! Kids-friendly place, full playground amenity & big garden. The pool by the Bar is amazing very clean crystal water and you can chill during your day enjoying your coffee or your cocktail. There is also a smaller pool for kids so every one can be happy!

Reviewed By DinakonstantinidouHad a lovely experience at Nikiforos Village last summer 2021. Really close distance to the beach and most known bars and clubs of Chalkidikis nightlife. Great atmosphere and perfect service really eager and helpful. Clean and sought after rooms creating a cozy and welcoming environment. I definitely recommend it to everyone travelling to Chalkidiki that want to enjoy summer at a fair price. I will be definitely visiting Greece and Nikiforos Village again.

The room was very inviting and warm (if you are a cold person extra blankets are provided if needed). The hotel itself is in and ideal location with a short walk from the local town, would I go back again YES! .

For breakfast ten or so dishes is served every day but that still gives you quite s few combinations you can choose from. The staff is nice and working hard to make everything perfect. As an example, all bedding was changed on our 3rd day of stay. Rooms are cleaned every day and any towel you leave on the floor will be changed for a new one. The pool saves you during the windy days since the hotel is protected from wind coming from the sea. You can use deep pool and still be able to look over the kids in their pool. The hotel may need some minor touchups but, hey, so do I. Those minor things aside, both of us are perfect. :)

Reviewed By princessNDJLovely hotel which was very well run. The staff are fantastic particularly George the barman. I am a fussy eater so mainly only had toast at breakfast. One member of staff noticed this and one day said he could offer beans so that I could have beans on toast. I don't know the young man's name but this demonstrates great customer service which is fabulous. Anyway, beans were cooked specifically for me and I very much enjoyed my beans on toast for breakfast. My husband ate everything for breakfast which was on offer and thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast menu is quite extensive. The hotel is in a great position near the beach, a 10 minute walk to the heart of Hanioti and 25 minute walk to Pefkatori. Lovely pool area and great bar in attractive grounds which were well kept. The rooms could be upgraded particularly the bathroom but then it's totally reflected in the price so I have no complaints. Shower was powefull and had plenty of hot water, bed was comfortable. Daily cleaning with good quality fresh towels provided. There is a shop on site which is reasonably priced. This was a great value for money holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed.

A family hotel set, just off the main town of Hanioti. Only 300 meters from the shops and 300 meters from the nearest beach, with tempting sands and inviting waters. With the supermarkets, bars and restaurants less than 180 meters away, if you tired of relaxing by the swimming pool. It’s great location offering a world of pleasure with many alternatives.

Reviewed By rdo34My wife and I travelled mid September 2018 7 nights bed and breakfast, Staff were friendly, got an older room than the new updated ones but was clean and spacious, nice pool unfortunately the hotel itself obstructed the sun around the pool from around lunchtime onwards so sunbathing was limited. Daytime food from the bar was nice but let down by a poor breakfast. Overall we enjoyable our stay, Hanioti is a nice resort and has some excellent bars and restaurants to enjoy an evening meal. Would return but to a different hotel.

Great place
Reviewed By micanovisadI would for sure recommend this small and pleasant hotel. There are everything you need during the stay for your summer holiday. Everyday, rooms are being cleaned, staff is extremely helpful and hospitable. Breakfast should be a liitle bit with more options, but it is not so relevant. Thank you all in hotel Hanioti.
