Can’t fault this place ! Room clean and spacious with usual amenities. But a big shout out for the staff at Parson’s Collar restaurant- nothing too much trouble, speedy service and service with a smile. Even though we only stopped overnight before a cruise, would definitely recommend

Happy houring in The Jolly

Reviewed By Iryna P

Ross and his staff are amazing guys! Food is delicious, proper English dishes with some Mediterranean vibes here and there but absolutely delicious overall (you know the comfort food you’d want when you lazy and don’t wanna cook). What’s even more important they are a dog friendly pub and the minute you walk in there with your dog the staff ensures your dog has water and ALWAYS treats, it’s lovely! Even better untill end of Feb they doing happy hour 2 4 1 everyday from 6.30 to 7.30 pm! Basically you get 2 pints for £5 OMG! The offer goes for food as well! Give them a try and ask for Ross if in doubt! He is the loveliest, most kind and funny manager and owner you’ll meet out there!

The Mill Arms

Very handy for Kimbridge Barns.

Reviewed By c11ffc

We were attending a wedding reception at Kimbridge Barns nearby so booked a nights stay. We asked to check in early before the reception which they were able to accommodate and they gave us helpful advice about local taxis. There was plenty of space to park. We received a warm welcome and we’re shown to our room. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower was excellent , everything you need for a good nights stay. The breakfast was superb, full English with everything piping hot. Extra tea was offered and gratefully accepted. A great value place to stay.

Perfect little hotel for couple of days

Reviewed By Mark W

We were taken aback when walked in the room, was a great size and done out very well. Bed was comfy, shower was good. The staff were friendly and helpful for the whole stay. Is at the end of the high street so noise wasn't an issue. Staff, accommodation & location couldn't have been better. Thank you.

Cider Cottages

Excellent accommodation perfectly placed in the New Forest.

Reviewed By Strangechap

I really can't fault this B&B. For the money, it was perfect for us. Its location near Burley means it is easy to get to from the A31. If you like walking, you can be out on the forest in about 5 minutes. Burley is 5 minutes the other way, with a few little shops and a couple of good pubs. If you are lazy or just hate walking, you can drive anywhere in the forest from there. The room, though not luxurious, is clean and well appointed. The bed is comfy with lovely soft linen. This is no 5* hotel, but for what you pay, I think you would struggle to find better. Breakfast is excellent. Lots of choice. I recommend the porridge and scrambled egg. Hash browns were soft inside with a hint of crunch. The latte is also fantastic and brewed with local beans. This is a family owned and run business, and the hosts are all very friendly and helpful. We chatted to several of them and felt very welcome. This was our second visit and we will be back again later this year hopefully. They also use lots of local produce and suppliers, which I love. They brew and sell cider and apple juice on site, the scrumpy was excellent. There is also a tearoom with a whole load of calories in the form of cakes and cookies just waiting to expand your waistline and give you bingo wings. They also do savoury grub, including breakfasts.

Amazing and would recommend to all

I recently stayed here for a short break which was delayed from covid. Firstly the staff were so professional upon dealing with covid and extremely understanding, re-arranging our stay wasn’t stressful at all. Arrival was easy and the cabin itself was spotless. Such nice area, peaceful and just a lovely get away! We had a hot tub lodge, was the extra luxury and worth it! The lodge had everything we needed, tea coffee, even washing up liquid! Dish washer was extremely handy too. I would recommend this to family and friends and will no doubt return in the future!.

Mulberry Barn

A perfect stay!

Reviewed By martync

We have just arrived home after a wonderful weekend at Mulberry Barn which is situated in a beautiful and very peaceful location. We were a large family party who were staying in the area to attend a family wedding and we were perfectly accommodated in the bed and breakfast and the self-catering annexe. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and Laura really looked after us well, making sure that we had everything that we needed. She provided us with information about local taxi firms and eating places and even offered to take a group photo of us before we left for the wedding. She was very kind and nothing seemed too much trouble for her ........ and the breakfasts were outstanding! We cannot fault our stay.

West View Lodge

The perfect getaway retreat

Reviewed By Rachel E

We had a two night stay in one of the cabins. They are so spacious and clean. Even though it is self catering, the chalets have tea, coffee, biscuits and milk in the fridge. Debbie is gorgeous and so helpful and you get a lovely welcome when you arrive. It's the perfect location for going for long walks, the M3 if you fancy going to Winchester, Salisbury etc. If you have a dog, no problem, they are welcome too. We will definitely be going back in the summer. It's home from home

Four Winds Guest House

CRAMMED IN!

Reviewed By A2297MSstephens

All the twin/double rooms are far too small, only suitable for single occupancy. We had the ground floor twin room where one of the beds was right up against the sliding bathroom door, if you needed the toilet you had to pull the bed away from the door at an angle so that you could get in. The mattresses were soft and lumpy and there were hairs on the sheets. As soon as Ruth opened the front door to welcome us we were hit with the smell of smoking but our room was non-smoking. The price was £75, the worst place we have stayed for that price, we have stayed in places like palaces for £70.
