Reviewed By jineuih2021This hotel is clean and comfortable. The lobby on the first floor were big enough for the guests to stay and the sofas were very good for reading a book. Many people were staying there. The managers were very kind and friendly.

Peaceful place except the poor service
Reviewed By ElenaLimmThe place was so peaceful and cozy for the most part There is impressive lobby like vacation spot Also, the room wasnt too small and has nice garden view even the bf was so good i think it was better than other 5star hotel But the service was very poor who is in charge of the bar at B1. The management gave us hinted even they served unripe avocado if the avocado is unripe, the staffs can offer other options or . Actually its not a big deal but i felt so bad at first, after that got the food . It made us in a bad mood

A bus service to and from Incheon airport stops right in front of the hotel and the bus ticket is relatively cheap, 13900 Won at the time of writing this. However the frequency of the busses has seen a drop, most likely due to the pandemic.

Hotel arranges shuttle to work every day morning. Rooms are good and spacious. But not noise insulated. Room service could improve a bit when refilling coffee and tea making facilities Rooms had Kitchenette but not many of plates or utensils. Didnt see any english channel in TV. Wifi was good. Staff speak english

Reviewed By edub1591Don't expect spectacular service or food in the hotel. Rooms are OK, clean and wide enough but there is barely any plug or space to work. Breakfast is poor and is hard even to find good coffe. You will be fine if you like omelettes since there is a dedicated space for them

My stay at Novotel Suwon
Reviewed By dttx_84I recently completed my stay at Novotel Suwon from the 13th-16th May 2022 as part of my holiday vacation with my wife in Korea. For tourists visiting Suwon do note the KTX or express trains from Incheon Airport have been closed. Same can be.said of the direct buses to the Suwon Station. They were non-existent in current terms. So reluctantly we took a deluxe black taxi all the way from Incheon Airport to Novotel Suwon which costs us over $100. I believe the hotel could have been more updated in their communications to visitors ie in their website on the means of transport route to guide us travellers. On the first day upon check in we visited and hiked around the Suwon Fortress walls. When we returned to the hotel around late afternoon, my wife called the guest concierge to request for 2 additional bottles of water since we were thirsty. We were quite surprised when the concierge told her that we were only allocated 2 complimentary bottles per day as part of hotel policy. And she would get housekeeping to send us 4 bottles to last us the next two days( we were on a 3 night stay). So we went to the lotte mall nearby to buy ourselves a large bottle of water. Same puzzling decision can be said of the dental kit. Most international hotels provided for free but for the dental kits were placed at the basket in the mini bar. The concierge over the phone also informed that that it was chargeable . So we bought ours at the convenience store instead. I found the bed a tad firm for my liking( but this is subjective to personal preference). The hotel also used large pump bottles for its shower, shampoo gels. While i understand that there is environmental benefit to this but maybe smaller bottles might be preferred for guests during covid times? In terms of location it is truly central. You have the express and KTX trains, metro and bus terminals just beside. AK shopping mall is directly linked through the 2nd floor of the hotel while Lotte shopping Mall is just a short walk across the bus terminal. Location is definitely a big plus point. Overall I would still come back to Novotel Suwon in future for its convenient location and the rooms were large and clean. I do hope that the hotel can look into the earlier points mentioned. Reviewed By DidibonleeWe just went through a 7 hour flight, and hoped to check in early at 11am. Was really disappointed when Derek Jang said we can only check in at 1pm. If we wanted to check in now, we had to pay 50% of the room rate just to check in 2 hours earlier? He was not empathetic even when we explained we just took the PCR test at the airport, and require to quarantine until results are out. Here I am sitting at the lobby waiting, and I see a baby's birthday celebration photo shoot going on. People are not wearing masks even when they are indoors? I do understand the parents and kid not wearing mask but shouldn't they put on their mask once the shoot is over? I felt uncomfortable having one of the parent coughing infront of me without his mask on. Perhaps, we should take covid more seriously? I do have to compliment Chloe Park ( Service Agent) though. We corresponded before my trip to Seoul, and was really friendly and provided information promptly. I am certainly impressed by her service. She was one of the reasons I decided to stay at this hotel.
