Reviewed By Travel143321The resort was excellent, spoilt only by the fact that it had run out of all its beers.We were there from 14 May to 16 May. They had 9 different beers on their menu. None was available! The staff were excellent especially Miss J J. Malaysia Airlines lost my suitcase, therefore for the 2 days I stayed at the resort I only had the clothes I traveled in. On day 2 Miss J J arranged for my clothes to be washed while I was at the swimming pool ( wearing a borrowed swimming costume). I can not thank her enough.

Basic accomodation
Reviewed By SassiBeeThis is the cheapest accommodation on site and it’s right next to the park which is ideal. We were served a delicious free breakfast every morning (bread, egg, beans and sausage with a hot drink) and there is a nice lunch and dinner menu. Transport to and from the airport can be provided at a small extra cost. The rooms are very simple and can get very hot when there is no electricity to run the fan (which is most of the time). Showers are cold and bathrooms are extremely basic and poorly kept. It can also be very noisy at night and early mornings when the house is waking up- ear plugs and eye mask are a must.

Benarat Lodge or Benarat Inn is a simple lodge in Mulu National Park. It belongs to Tropical Adventure Tours & Travel in Miri. We have recently increased the no of rooms and is in midst of adding in solar energy for each room to supplement the current power generated from generator. We have recently build a 32 feet swimming pool at our place. Come stay with us to enjoy the swimming pool. Most guests who stayed with us usually book our 3 days Njoy mulu tours, 4 days Mulu Pinnacles tour or the 5 Days Headhunter trail tour. This is back to nature at its best.

Reviewed By JohnnyLaursenThe staff's helpfulness and knowledge of the area and their punctuality were excellent. Furthermore, the staff is very friendly and has good humor. There is a 6-7 minute drive to the Mulu NP headquarters. You have free drive from the lodge to HQ.

Lovely homestay near national park
Reviewed By hayleajefferysWe throughly enjoyed staying here in this traditional longhouse and James made sure we had everything we needed and was very informative about the park and local conditions. My only suggestion for improvement is for James to sell filtered water instead of selling plastic bottles, which are very bad for the environment. Most conscientious travellers carry a flask or at least can fill up using a glass so giving customers access to refillable filtered water should be an essential particularly given its close proximity to the National Park.

Reviewed By BatdeBaseballWe stayed here to do the Mulu park visit 3 nights. Rooms are simple but you have everything you need. The price and location offers a good value for money. The staff will directly propose you to book through them the tours as you arrive. It is way more expensive through Kenny. You can book directly at the park office at the entrance, they offer the same tours with great guide that speaks perfect English. Also each ride to the park is a fee and to come back you have to manage with the cafe outside the park. It worked well for us. To finish food is not really good, the food inside the park is way better!

Reviewed By AleksandraLPWe don’t saty here but come for breakfast. We get toasts, jam, honey, fried egg and coffee. And it’s cheap.The owner is polite. The kitchen is small and basic but they manage :) We eat breakfast twice here.

Diana Homestay is located in Mulu, Borneo, Malaysia. 1.8km from the National Park hQ and 2.4km from Mulu Airport. Airport shuttle is available at MYR5 pp/way. There are four type of rooms; beds in dorm, private double room, private triple room and also private quad room. Each room have its own attached bathroom with shower. Local breakfast will be serve every morning. Lunch and dinner is also available at an affordable rate. Shared kitchen is provided & there are towels avail for rent for those who travel light. Washing machine is also available but it is chargeable. This home stay provide 24 hours supply of water - pump from the river and 12 hours supply of electricity, from 1800-0600hrs daily. Guest can easily book tour from the owner's brother who is a certified Mulu park guide. Optional tour provided - sunset cruise, night walk, you name it.
