Great little hotel
Reviewed By Daniel KGreat little hotel well situated only 15 minutes walk to the center of San Miguel, staff are really helpful and friendly, Me being English and my girlfriend from Hungary our spanish was limited the hotel owner spoke good English, rooms were clean and spacious, muy bien, gracias amigos

Small but comfy
Reviewed By Chattycathy642Arrived in San Miguel right after Christmas with no reservation. Happy to find a room. Hotel is not first class, but moderately priced and very clean. Beds comfy with nice comforters and pillows. A little noisy because there are windows in the hallway, but our room offered a fan so it had white noise.

El personal nunca quiso ayudarme y mostraron muy poca flexibilidad para poder solucionar el problema, específicamente la gerente del hotel, Miriam Sautto Olivares, tuvo una pésima atención y fue muy grosera. Muy mala atención por parte de todos, nadie me quiso ayudar o brindar alguna solución, ni si quiera una disculpa. No lo recomiendo para nada!

A great one night stay
Reviewed By ShofsanBeautifully located up the stairs, just past Hotel San Diego (also good, btw) this hotel has super friendly staff, always willing to help out. They offer breakfast, but we headed down to one of the cafés instead. The room we got was big, with a small terrace outside. The bed was big and comfortable (king) and bathroom was big for GTO standards. Only issue we had was the water drained super slowly in the shower, so we always got a foot bath while showering:p all in all a great stay- be ready to run out of breath waking those stairs haha

Reviewed By salhurtadoMy wife and I visited this hotel multiple times the last few years and have loved the location and atmosphere the place has. It has everything to be a perfect get-away place. Gym, Spa, Hotel, Bar and Restaurant. This past Christmas we did just that, yet the food was horrible and that is putting it lightly. We were extremely disappointed in the food along with the service. The excuse they used was because it was Christmas and staff was limited. At that point, please close the restaurant. Food that was suppose to be cold - was warm and food that was suppose to be hot was warm. A perfect combination for bacteria, the staff tried their best, yet there is only so much you can do. The bar was limited and when asked questions about their liquor options, they were confused on what to recommend. I was very fond of this place as this is where I asked my wife to marry me and her hand, and to come back to this place and have a horrible experience - is heartbreaking. I hope management pick things back up for our very unlikely next visit.

Reviewed By Yuri PI would have given this hotel even a lower rating, but because I did not pay a lot for it, it is what it is. Room 103 had a problem as described on the other reviews, either you close all blinds and doors and have no outside light in the room, or you have no privacy as everybody outside sees what you do in the room. Additional problems are: there was not a safe in the room, so I had to bring my passport with me all the time, and there is not even a fridge in the room, and it is called a suite? Room itself was quite large with many english channels on TV. But because of the reasons mentioned would not recommend,

Reviewed By carloscM6086RLThe location is bad, the room are not keep the best way, they over charge me for 2 extra days and because I didn't ask for a receipt I was no able to claim it. They do this on purpose, because once you back home is difficult to get document. Make sure you get a document in this place.
