We have eaten at this recently opened Osteria/ enotecca for supper, lunch and occasional breakfast eight times in March and April. One evening meal was very good indeed as were two breakfasts. The coffee is good, but cappuccinos were not. But three other evening meals were very disappointing. Dry main courses and warmed up pasta, i.e. not freshly cooked were the main problems. The service was variable, sometimes ok, sometimes indifferent and even disdainful. Cappuccinos at most recent breakfast were served with longlife milk and stale cornetti. A great shame because when it is good it is very good. We will not go back until we hear they have got their act together.NeedDear Highbury19,thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad that you have come to our osteria 8 times.. the problem is that we do not remember You! Are You sure you have reviewed the right place? We have this strong doubt also because your statements are not correct: we never serve warmed pasta and our cornetti with homemade jam are always fresh as well as the milk. We are very sorry because maybe you have confused our osteria with some other place, However, we invite you to come and visit us as soon as possible. Our best regards.

The panoramic views from the terrace of Fiorfiore restaurant are absolutely amazing.The staff are professional, friendly and efficient.The menu is interesting and serves dishes made from the local produce of the surrounding fields and farm owned by the hotel.Excellent homemade pasta with trufflesTry the Maltagliati with white rabbit sauceFinally the roasted local pork to die for ... calories included !We will return to try out the hotel and spa!

We were at a big shooting competition on the grounds. Easily over 1,000 shooters alone not to include family and friends. We are here most of the week. The staff was consistently accommodating. The food was outstanding. They changed the menu every few days. The pizza in the wood fired oven was some of the best I've eaten. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area. Italy is known for its food and this place didn't disappoint!

Beautiful restaurant in small hamlet serving unfussy Umbrian food. Service is great and we sat out on terrace with stunning views of the countryside whilst we ate supper. Everything is cooked to order so doesn't arrive quickly, but this gives you more time to drink in the view and the excellent wine on offer - the house wines come by the jug are very good value for the price.

It really has to said this was an eating experience. Set in a beautiful small village the location is perfect. It was such a beautiful day we ate outside.Wonderful warm professional service was followed by the most exquisite food. It really could not be faulted.I ate the goose to start and then the duck. Perfect flavours along with perfect presentation made this a true culinary delight.The restaurant also has a very good wine list so whatever you choose to eat can be washed down with great bottle of wine.I finished off with the panna cotta which was a lovely lite refreshing end to what was a truly delicious meal.If in the region of Todi this restaurant is a must.

We have a house in Collazzone and this restaurant is situated a couple of 100 meters from our house. Thus, we eat at Al Leone frequently. However, we do not eat there out of convenience, we eat there out of preference. It is a great restaurant with the best pizza around. They have a pizza oven in the locale and serve great Italian pizza with crispy, thin crust. You want your own pizza-composition? No problem- they will accommodate you. The owners are very nice people and the service is polite and friendly. They also serve nice, grilled chicken and good pasta. If you are in Umbria, close to Perugia, pay them a visit. Prices are also reasonable.

We were staying in a tower below the town of gritting and dropped by for a late night dinner for four. Nice patio seating quick service and a diverse menu We were served quickly and everything was especially tasty. This was a great find in the middle of the hillside. Recommended find if you are looking for a place off the beaten path!

A wonderful experience in terms of authentic Umbrian food, with pleasant decor and friendly service. Most everything served here, from the meats and bread, to wine and after dinner liqueurs, is home made. This restaurant is a must stop in my opinion for a real Umbrian experience.
