This is really good local food. Seasonal, healthy. Not flash or fancy, but no deep fried sausage here! Fresh fish, local meat, great salad. It's not ultra fine dining (although are trying a bit too hard on this front), good local wine too.

After a long drive through Germany and Austria we came to this nice hotel to rest. Rooms are wide and the beds are very very confortable and soft. Breakfast was also very nice since I tried austrian home apple pie and some amazing fruit spreads. Only that the price was bit high so make sure to ask before you take the room.

The reason we went there : a birthday on Monday when everything else around is closed. Very clean restaurant with nice cloth napkins and good but not romantic or charming atmosphere. There is an evening menue which sounds nice and most of it was very nice. Beef tartare was nice and hand cut - portion was not too big but in my opinion too much of the Fink vinegar veggies for deco. It is daring to offer Sepia and shrimp so far in the country side - but it was okay. I really liked the service, one of the owners worked himself that evening. Funny enough the signature dish of the region, a pumpkin seed oil salad with fried chicken was the least appealing (no vinegar in dressing and fried too long). I would definetely recommend the restaurant if you are in the area but do not expect michelin stars, good solid cooking trying to please all kinds of guests. - Service is once again very attentive and in my opinion on a higher level than the foods served, but very good for food is still way above average.

Served immediately, followed by quick drinks. Price was reasonable, atmosphere was brilliant. The food, admittedly did take a long time to come, but my God, it was the best I've ever had. Myself and my girlfriend shared the rib sampler platter for two, and the portion was something incredible. I must have eaten three pigs, and the size of the potato wedges portion was ma-hu-sive. Also came with delicious garlic bread and corn on the cob. It was all delicious - thinking about it makes me just want more - it was literally, food porn. My girlfriend brother ordered the steak with wedges and shrimp etc, which he said was also to a similar standard. Would recommend and can't wait until I come again!

Food excellent and value for money excellent. Wines and cheeses very good selection. Local wiener schnitzel and pumpkin soups excellent. If you just wanted a beer or coffee nothing was to much trouble.

I stayed at the hotel over the weekend of 21-23 June 2014 with a friend while we went to the Austrian Grand Prix. The hotel manager Mr Maurer was so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. He waited up the first night as we arrived late and personally cooked a late meal for us after the kitchen had closed when we got held up on the way back from the circuit and couldn't get a meal elsewhere. Room facilities, breakfasts and evening meals were all excellent. Thoroughly recommend this as a first class hotel with excellent service.

Restaurante pequeno e no horário que fui 19:30 não tinha opções de janta, só sopa e pão com frios. Tidos fumam no bar e o ambiente é insuportável para não fumantes. Não recomendo !

Das Gasthaus liegt zentral und bietet selbstgebrautes Bier und solide Speisen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und so steht einem angenehmen Aufenthalt nichts im Wege.

My first pizza with sprouts.....and many other toppings. Healthy food with taste for more. Great place to meet friends and no smoking......but all drinks ....:)
