Staying with Giovanni and Nina: like "with family"
Reviewed By Alexei KWe, myself, my brother and my sister in law came to Gangi nearly spontaneously based on the last minute advice. It is a very cute and inviting little town with amazing variety of baroque churches and interesting architecture. Hence, the decision to stay overnight was unanimous. The location of "Il Galetto" B&B is perfect (right in the old town) and you get an amazing view (from the top of the hill) of the whole surrounding area up to Mt. Etna. But this is not the "point." The point are the owners: the lovely Giovanni and his wife Nina. They opened their tiny place (just two rooms) when their sons grew up and, thus, two their former bedrooms have become available. I suspect, though, that they started to host people, because they felt to be really "empty nesters" and wanted to help the others to properly discover Gangi. Once in their place, you are part of the loving and laughing family. Giovanni knows Gangi perfectly and he is the best "ambassador" of his town that you only can imagine. In our case, we were given a personal tour and introduction to a variety of interesting destinations. As of B&B itself, very comfortable, clean and...everything is done upon your request. Thank you very much, Giovanni and Nina! I love to be back.

Great home cooking

The food was delicious - all home cooked, mainly home-grown ( superb bread made from their own flour), and plentiful. The bathroom was cramped - probably difficult for very large people, hence four rather than five stars.

Good for a nights stay
Reviewed By Art HThe hotel is directly on the Via National so there is highway noise, however there is not much traffic at night so it was comfortable for sleeping. The doors to the rooms are not well insulated, as a result there is noise from the hallways. Our room was smallish but adequate for a nights stay. There was comfortable king-sized with two night stands and a desk and chair. The bathroom was fine, but the shower (as is typical in many of the hotels that we stayed in) was little bigger than a phone booth. They served a nice continental breakfast

A-MURI è un affascinante e accogliente bed & breakfast ricavato da una torre a schiera (architettura rurale/urbana del ‘700) ubicato nel centro storico di Gangi. L'edificio, a pochi passi dal Museo Civico, è stato rinnovato con un approccio contemporaneo nel rispetto della spazialità classica e dei suoi vani voltati. Ogni appartamento ha una vista spettacolare sui tetti e sui paesaggi circostanti.
Modern, nice B&B with a fatastic view
Reviewed By 2020carlabI really recommend this B&B! We had a very nice stay in Gangi and loved every minute at A-Muri Bed and Breakfast. Here the typical architecture of Gangi meets modern colors and materials. We had two rooms plus a bathroom for us (a bedroom and living room) - both with stunning views. Breakfast was typical Italian: something sweet and tasty with a cappuccino. Only the pictures of the dolls were a bit creepy for my taste. Overall we had a great time at this beautiful, stylish and modern bed and breakfast. Thank you again for your hospitality.

I like to share my experience of my stay in this Agriturismo , We were three men with our motorbikes travelling around Sicily ,our first stay was in Gangi ,we gave them a very short notice of our arrival, but still we were very much welcomed, after we unpacked our bags and took a shower, we were going to drive to town for a meal, but it started to rain, and they offered us that they will be happy to cook something for us and we accepted . It was a nice good light meal, that we enjoyed, the behaviour of this couple is fantastic, you will not find any better. the room was fair for the price, and the motorbikes were in a safe place, but with some small afford can be better, overall it was a nice stay.. Thank you

Meraviglioso appartamento in centro al borgo.

Ci siamo trovati davvero bene e consigliamo a tutti di rimanere a dormire qui e vivere questo borgo affascinante. La casa è comoda, suggestiva e ben riscaldata. Valorizza l’antico senza rinunciare alle comodità. Dalla finestra si vede un panorama meraviglioso sui tetti del paese e da sotto casa si accede alla parte centrale e più alta del borgo. I proprietari ci hanno fatto trovare la cucina pulita e dotata di olio, sale, spezie (molto comodo quando si è in viaggio a piedi si vuole cucinare qualcosa). Inoltre ci hanno lasciato usare gratuitamente la lavatrice, che non era inclusa ed era a un piano diverso. Gentilissimi e professionali. Elisa e Walter di camminoadagio.com

Nonostante ciò abbiamo trovato in primis gentilezza,cordialità e disponibilità in tutto.Appena entrati spiegazione dettagliata di ciò che poteva offrire Ganci e paesi limitrofi. Camere nuove,con wifi. qualità/prezzo non ottima ma di più.. ci tenevamo ancora ringraziare di più per averci fatto scoprire la "Taormina delle Madonie"

Family owned and operated, my hosts made sure I had whatever I needed. I had a room on the top floor, clean and comfortable with strong internet, tv, copious hot water, lovely view of the main street from the balcony. No A/C needed even in July as the temperature at night was perfect for sleeping. Close to everything. I had a very pleasant stay.

very nice hotel
Reviewed By marinesabVery nice hotel, beautiful view from room 104 of the medieval town of Gangi. Clean and modern room, TV is a bit small and the safe is not a real safe. Shame they did not put table a chairs on the balcony. Friendly staff, good service and very good food. The staff speaks only Italian except from one guy who can speak a little bit of French. Not many sunloungers at the pool, no umbrellas.

Quiet stay near Gangi
Reviewed By Tatyana KMe and my boyfriend stayed here for 1 night. We came from Palermo to Gangi by car and last minute decided to stay overnight. Around 20:00 we called the owner and after 1 hour or so he came to meet us. Room has 1 big and 1 small bed. Bathroom is inside the room which is very convenient. In the morning owner offered us Italian breakfast - croissant and tea/coffee. Thanks from Sgan from London and Tanya from Moscow.
