Reviewed By LailaFreddyThough outside Main Sonmarg, about a half hour and a couple of thousand feet lower, it is really worth staying here. Like any other hotel (anywhere in the world) there are disciplines of time and effort, and the staff or owners cannot be stretched beyond this for a guest's whimsy. Tucked away, near a stream, off the highway, the hotel is, at present a stand alone property, owned and lovingly managed by brothers, Mohammed and Zarhoor Siah. Both individuals share duties, times and hospitality equally, and run a really good establishment....it was so good to see they had ladies on their staff as well! The room was large, and well appointed, the bathroom, the same....both well maintained and clean. The housekeeping staff ensured that1 The breakfast was the stumbling block as usual in every Kashmiri hotel - they are handicapped in that Kashmiris do not eat a cooked breakfast - but they were only too willing to serve me (Bakery)... Bhakarkhani, Chott and Kashmiri Kulcha - when I requested - Kudos sirs. And the free-flowing Kewah warmed the cockles of my stomach.

Reviewed By shinojs374Never do any advance booking with this hotel when you are more than 2 people . We booked 3 rooms but only 2 were allocated. The owner will make lot of fake promises . The rooms were very dirty and toilets were broken . Don’t fall into the trap of getting cheaper rates as the rooms are not worth . Also please check out the owner comments on google to his customers and his behaviour. Very disappointed with the stay
