I discovered this restaurant/pizzeria by searching a nice place to go for a pizza on Tripadvisor and I went with a group of friends. The restaurant is quite small but well furnished, the waitress were professional and very friendly, pizza was very good....the price at the end of the dinner was a surprice.

On the first day we arrived, we went to diner at Gustavo. There's no set menu and the food arrived quickly. All kinds of lovely dishes passed: salades, pasta, meat and dessert. Very friendly service as well.

Its located in the southern part of Italy Galatone, in the province of Lecce.
Excellent Italian Foods.I love their fresh yummy comforting Pizzas.
Services and hospitality are excellent.
Its a very nice family owned restaurant.
And not to forget a Very High Speed Wifi too..

We stayed Lo Prieno near Galatone for two nights which we would have extended if we had had more time. We came here because we had read about it in a cookbook called “Salute”. Maria welcomed us with coffee and took time to show us around and to explain all about the working olive grove we were staying at. The room was basic but clean, large and very comfortable with flyscreens and a pedestal fan so we had no trouble sleeping with the cool breeze at night. The room was a 3 min walk through the olive grove to the dining area. Breakfast consisted of coffee and home-made pastries and breakfast cake or bread sometimes straight out of the oven. We booked for dinner both nights and as we were the only guests this early in the season, Maria cooked for us. It was excellent, something not to be missed if you are interested in local cuisine. Vito explained the significance of the foods and the local wines. They gave us advice on where to drive and which local towns to visit for interesting sights. Wifi was provided when we asked. If you like to stay off the beaten track in an authentic location where little English is spoken and there are few tourists, if you love food and are open to a “cucina povera” experience, this is the place.

We had an amazing evening, first watching the animals on the farm and then being spoiled by Alberto's cuisine which was rich, varied and based on the tastiest ingredients. This place is definitely worth a bigger detour once you're in Puglia. Thanks for this experience!

I've been to li papi a few times now - never disappointed!
In August we were sat in the garden, under olive trees. The atmosphere is very relaxed, not too casual, an ideal place for friends to have a meal out.
There is always plenty of food and I can't think of anyone having left the table hungry! I'd definitely come back!

We visited Bar Cream & Caramel recently to eat some ice creams. Delicious home made. Don't expect a multitude of flavors, about 15 varying from plain vanilla, to chocolate, Nutella and ammarone. They also have delicious cakes and cookies and the prices are what you can expect in Puglia. Portions are huge, prices modest, 6 ice creams for only Eur 13,50. A go to place when you are in the area.

I am from a town close by but I live now abroad. Last month, while on vacation, I went there with my family and my French boyfriend to let him try some traditional dishes. We were all highly satisfied! The place is beautiful, food very good (even for people who used to eat the same dishes made by our grandmothers) and the price very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Fantastic restaurant serving delicious food and wine. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing and friendly. The bill came to €59 for a family of four...this included three courses and plenty of drinks. Great evening, lovely hosts and outstanding value for money.....highly recommended!
