This has been my 3rd visit to Kilwins as it has become a tradition in our family to go there when we visit Ft.Meyers beach. First off, this is the best ice cream shop I have ever been to. The ice cream is so creamy and flavorful and the portions are so big! I got Dulce De Leche and Cake batter and wow they both were just outstanding. My mom also ordered a latte and said it was the best one she has ever had. I cannot reccomend this place enough!! Awesome!!

Delicious German food and beer! Best sauerkraut, sausage and potato salad! Be sure to get an authentic German pretzel. Plenty of choices for kids who might not like schnitzel. Owners take great pride in their restaurant and your experience. Heidi is amazing and Axle is the best chef. Enjoy the sarcasm of the server! She's a hoot! Enjoy!

I’d advise to get a small breakfast before you come to try and get breakfast here. The lines and wait are outrageous and while that usually signifies a quality establishment I feel like most people are here because it’s kitschy. Was on the bottom tier of food quality and when you include the nearly 90 minute wait, I won’t be back.

We arrived and were seated for breakfast. The hostess handed us menus and said our server would be right over. We watched many people leave and new ones seated but still no sign of a server. Finally a young man came out and proceeded to the tables seated after us and got them drinks and took their orders. I got up and approached the sever and asked why no one had been to take our order since we arrived first. He replied that we were not in his section. We left and found a new spot. It’s a shame because this place used to have good service. We will never go back.

we specialize in fresh burgers, fresh cut fries and hotdogs. we also have the best Cuban in the area. we have a daily special board that changes every few days. we make as much as possible to order and everything is fresh!

Reviewed By CruisinNurse

My husband and I actually went there one morning for breakfast but ended up ordering a hotdog and hamburger because they told us all items were available. Boy am I glad. I had ready read the reviews and definitely wanted to try this place. It’s just a small stand on Estero with some small tables and chairs and a small bar stand, nothing to look at but the food is fantastic. Honestly this was the only place on trip advisor that I gave an excellent to. I ordered the Chicago dog and it was the best I’ve ever had. The combination of tomatoes, onions, pickles and mustard on a beef dog was heaven. My husband ordered the hangover burger and he said it was fantastic. We ordered the fries and they were fresh, hand cut and hot. We never finish all our fries and there wasn’t a single one left in the basket. I believe someone told us the owner was from the Burgh and being from the burgh ourselves I had a small smirk on my face. I only wish he would open a stand back up north. I should’ve take pics but honestly it looked so good I couldn’t wait lol.

We came here upon the recommendation of hotel staff thirty minutes away. It was an excellent recommendation. They took a reservation and cheerfully seated us a little early with a water view. The menu looks great and everything that we saw being served at the tables looked fantastic. Fresh, very tasty raw oysters. Awesome Conch chowder. A unique, filling and tasty shrimp and grits recipe - all with prompt friendly service and a nice night on the water.

Don't miss it.
