We visited the stone house village and decided to have late lunch here. It was superb. Although we were late and some meals were sold out we had lamb and did not regret it. Not too many restaurants in Pedrogao Grande as it is a small place.
The restaurant itself resembles a cosy small Cafe rather than a well lit classroom.
Staff is friendly and the menu big. The food is good but nothing special.
I could eat and drink for half the price within a one minute walk but would not have the same atmosphere.

Been going for lunch on a weekly basis for over a year. Lovely clean restaurant, with great food, generous portions, and a varied menu. The owner speaks English, is friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely worth a visit!

The quantities are a little unbalanced, how much more expensive the food is, the less quantity we get. Nevertheless the food was good and overall we had a couple of good dinners. For desserts we had the chocolate cake with ice-cream, but unfortunately the cake was very salty so i couldn't eat more than 2 or 3 spoons, the "baba de camelo" was too runny and should be more cold.
The service was relatively fast and the people were nice, but i didn't like the fact that they never took away the dirty dishes with remains of entries.
The view is the best feature of the place.

The restaurant is an amazing place with the nice view of the river, Mountains and great home-made food. It is a right place to meet friends, family or colleagues. I definitely recommend the restaurant. You should try their fish soup, the best soup I ever ate in my life.

A good place to visit if you're in the area. Ample parking, good toilets and a clean restaurant. The food is good Portuguese fayre at a reasonable price with a decent wine list too. Octopus is the dish to go for!

Tudo na Brasa is a charming little cafe, full of regulars, local workers and occasional visitors. The lunchtime is usually a choice of two things, and usually 'frango' or 'peixe'. With a soup stater, a drink and a wholesome dessert (doce da casa is good) the bill is around 6Euros.
The chicken is always a good choice served with rice, chips and salad.
The staff are wonderful, and the lady who runs the show makes delightful 'sonhos'!
Well worth a trip.

Comida portuguesa, não tem muitas opções, mas os pratos são saborosos e de qualidade.
Instalações remodeladas recentemente, conta com agradável salão.

Good food, good value, good service. There's not a huge choice in Figueiro dos Vinhos, and we found this spot by accident, but we're very glad we did so. Not a spectacular target for foodies perhaps, but a good solid lunch and charming service. Popular with locals which is always a decent indication...

We visited here last time and all was well. Now very poor.
Cold soft french fries, under cooked cheese in the omelette.
We won't be going back!!
Same proprietor but he didn't seem interested.
