Excellent room and food

Pub is really big and hotel rooms in a separate building out there back. Room recently refurbished done out really nicely, nice clean and had everything you would want and more! Plenty of coffee tea fresh milk bottled water and even a bottle of London pride! Enjoyed our evening meal great food and fab staff to be honest they were so friendly and helpful. Pub welcomes dogs, we didn’t like that they could sit on furniture lounge on cushions which then wasn’t cleaned but we not dog lovers - so could appreciate others might like this. Great breakfast again lots of choice on hot food cooked to order, tea coffee juices etc. Overall fantastic stay would recommend it and will definitely be staying here again to break our journey up.

Comfortable hotel
Reviewed By Esther LVery nice staff at check in, clean room( apart from shower head which needs attention asap) Beefeater right next door with good food, friendly staff. Only issue was at breakfast the waitee gave our party of 6 one of those stupid squashed booths which is NO USE for a breakfast that you help yourself to and get up numerous times to refill. I asked the waiter if we could move to one of the vacant tables that were more accessible but apparently they were booked! So clearly our money wasn’t as good… So not impressed, seeing as the so called booking turned up nearly an hour later with only four people. I thought this was downright rude of the waiter and this isn’t the service I expect at all.

Reviewed By Katriin_82Long story short got a pcn through the post even though I registered my car in hotel (you can see on camera etc.)I appealed, didn't go through, now ...they haven't actually got a NUMBER to call them and I've left 3 messages in the system ,never had an answer back so that says it all,they are all too willing to take your money but when it comes to customer service,it's one of the worst I've experienced!!!So be careful when staying there,you might incur a hefty fine after..the choice is yours..to stay there or go somewhere cleaner and where they actually care for their customers!

Beautiful location, basic hotel
Reviewed By phoebem180We stayed at Frensham Pond for 2 nights for a wedding nearby. The location was beautiful and easy to get to. The hotel seemed a little outdated. The bedrooms seemed to have excess unnecessary furniture. The bathrooms were a little old fashioned but had fantastic lighting and mirrors. The windows looked straight out onto the road and therefore could do with some net curtains for privacy whilst letting some light in. Lovely buffet style breakfast with plenty of options available. There were not many other young people or families around.

Reviewed By Strangers44Bel and dragon pub churt Hampshire Food cold and minimal. Tiny tin with shepherds pie in. Small lamb cutlet, cold. Veg cold on a cold board, not a plate. Friend had great meal of fish and chips three times the size. No one checked how we were. I had to find someone then had eaten the small pie by the time veg was warmed up. When I paid man was very off with me. He took a tip without asking but took it off again. He had helped my disabled friend get in the door though. Such a disappointment. Expensive for little.

Reviewed By Mary-Jane_AjahI stayed at Farnham last November for a family friends wedding, I had ordered some shoes to the hotel to hopefully arrive in time for the day, unfortunately when I then re ordered from the same company for my holiday in April the following year it went to the hotel, I called the hotel to inform them of my mistake and they couldn’t be more helpful in getting my package sent over to me as soon as it had arrived, they were super kind and said it was no trouble what so ever. My stay with the family was also great in the November, so I highly recommend them just for the amazing staff and manager which I believe is called dean.

Lovely 2 Day Family Group Stay - Much Nicer Than We Expected
Reviewed By Venture445708Four older adults and five young adults stayed to attend a family wedding. We really liked the hotel and found it much better than the reviews suggest. The location is brilliant - very close to cafes, shops and restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly. You could park on site. The continental breakfast was fresh and well supplied. The staff kindly laid up a table in advance for our party. The tea and coffee in the rooms was good quality, with fresh milk daily. We liked the outside courtyard, which had plenty of seating. We thought the hotel was good value for the location. One thing to note is that the rooms weren’t all the same size, with one of them (in the coach house) rather small, with a very small shower room and nowhere to put toiletries and suitcases. So ask for a room in the main hotel if you want something more spacious.
