Reviewed By Manali_JainThere might be tons of hotels in & around Shimla, but don't miss staying here, it's just an hour drive from Shimla. Fagu, it's a hidden gem near Shimla. The beauty of this untouched raw place surprised me like never before. It's a perfect example of more nature,less people. They say the Britishers named it Fagu because this place is covered in FOG almost entire year since it's the highest peak in this region. And this Apple Orchard cottage is located at the very secluded end of this beautiful hillock, which makes it even more stunning. The view from room is totally mesmerizing, surrounded by apple orchards nearby & the Himalayas far away. Even the famous ranges of Uttarakhand are visible from here ?️. As they say, no beauty of the place is complete without it's people and it's true here too. The people here are so kind & warm that they make you feel like family. The owner's mother will take you around her apple orchards & gift you a bag full of apples while you return back. She even made us Kheer from her kitchen. Rest of the staff were on their toes to meet our even the smallest of demands. Sonu Sood sir, Mohinder & Ajay sir made sure we had a memorable stay. They showed us how this place looks magical when it snows in December-January & we are surely going back there with our friends & family. P.S - Don't miss the short trek to Potato research center atop the hill, there's a cute pond over there. ?

Great Location with magnificent View of Himalayan Mountains from rooms. Rooms with wooden interiors are wide and cozy.

Reviewed By otghotelsThe Property is on main high way towards Kinnaur, Lahul Spiti. with amazing valley view , rooms with wooden interior & best part is bunker bed in thier Family room for kids, food is also good. One should visit this Property, and one thing more the Sun rise is amazing.
