Metepec (Spanish: (help·info)) is a city and municipality in the State of Mexico in Mexico and is located directly to the east of the state capital, Toluca, at an altitude of 2,635 metres (8,645 ft) above sea level. The centre of Mexico City lies some 50 km further to the east. The name Metepec comes from Náhuatl meaning hill of the maguey plants. However, it is also known in the Matlatzinca language as "Nepinta-Tuhi" meaning 'people of corn land' and in the Otomi language as "Ntaguada".

We decided to try something new, and we have passed several times in front of this restaurant... country decor and atmosphere, including the music (maybe a little too loud) small tables for the size of the plates... ribs are the specialty, and the meat was very good and tender... side dishes not so much, and the sauce weak (made in house). Salad vertical basic. Melted cheese kind of chewie... friendly service, good prices... if your thing are ribs, worth trying

A hidden gem in the centre of Metepec, nice looking café on 2-3 stories that takes special care for coffee and its original advertisement. It has a collection of games to keep you entertain.

El restaurante con apariencia agradable, bonita terraza y amplio estacionamiento. Un dÃa anterior revisé en internet el horario y leà que cerraban a las 18:30 sin embargo llame para cerciorarme pues buscaba lugar para cenar pero por teléfono me dijeron que cerraban a las 17:00 horas. Al dÃa siguiente en sábado acudà a las 3:30 y no pudimos sentarnos en la terraza pues la estaban limpiando, las mesas disponibles sucias y el piso sucio, al entrar ni nos pusieron atención pues estaban muy ocupados en labores de limpieza.....ya tenÃan prisa por terminar e irse. Revisé el menú y no encontré nada especial "Gourmet", concluà por lo que vi que el negocio es de desayunos solamente. Espero tener la oportunidad de probar el desayuno "Gourmet".
