This restaurant has multi Gardens with playing area for children, the Menu similar to any Kurdish restaurant , charcoaled grills average level , salads are also average.
Prices little bit higher than average.
The only good advantage in this place is the out door Gardens.
The service is very quick , it took only 15 minutes to bring our order.
All over is considered good if you have kids.

As you can see from my title, I expected more from this place. Reading comments and listening people about it, I just expected more. For my friend and I, this was just an average place to eat. Cuban burger and chicken shawarma were overcooked, beef shawarma was OK, hummus and rocket salad decent. Having this mentioned, you can get the reason for my average opinion

Very nice and cosy place, during day time, very silent and relaxing.
Waiters friendly and helpful. Most likely restaurant with the best steaks in Erbil.
Restaurant serving alcohol drinks as well. Will recomend this place to everybody, families, couples or singles.

Their Caesar salad looks great and tempty to eat, although I had ordered a pizza before seeing the salad. The pizza was good, however I will ask for some changes next time. Personally I do not like onion on pizzas and some of the spices, which give a specific taste. Definitely, it is good to go.

It came as a surprise to me that booze is available in this part of the world. I've traveled extensively in the Middle East and most countries have restrictions with alcohol. This place definitely rock. Lots of expats from different companies, pork served, great vibe, and a good place to hang out.

Fountains everywhere, the menu is limited the food above average, playing area for children is available, service good and fast

Tuesday nights are wine and cheese night at the Onyx. I made my 1st venture there and was pleasantly surprised in the quality of both the wine and the cheese. Cheese selection was very good. Price? Well check your zip code and don't complain!
