Love this place for ordering Chinese takeaway. Their crispy chilli beef is the best. Always arrives quickly and is always hot. If you spend over £15 you get free prawn crackers and over £25 free spring rolls which we got 8 of this time with a large order. Will definitely keep using you!

Good Chinese seems hard to come by in herne bay, I know it's also personal preference but this one is hit and miss. Sometimes it's really fresh and tasty and other times it seems overdone and not too flavoursome. Not sure if it keeps changing hands or not. I will eat here again as its on route home but I never know what I'm going to get.

I accidentally ordered from LUCKY HOUSE HERNE BAY. Thinking I was ordering from LUCKY HOUSE TANKERTON. Gutted! The noodles had weird tasting prawns which I could not eat and the cubes of pork were so chewy I couldnât eat those either! The crispy duck was probably 40% fat. Never again!

I fancied a bit of heat so ordered a Szechuan prawns. Very underwhelmed. No different to normal prawn dish. Not really very good. Passable as an average takeaway, but not one to go out of your way for.

First time we have eaten from this takeaway during a stay with the parents in law. We stuck to the usual favourites and so are able to guage against other takeaways.Here is a summarySalt and Pepper Ribs-The best i have ever tasted with fresh spring onion and chilli. This must be their signature dish.Crispy seaweed- Too much salt and sugar made it almost inedible.Ribs in BBQ Sauce - To die for, and a good size portion.Prawn Toast - Excellent with a good coating of prawn paste.Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls - Again the best I have ever had. Great pieces of white chicken breast with not too much batter,Beef with Black Bean and Green pepper= Not badThe two Chop Suey dishes we had were a disaster. It resembled more of a bean sprout and meat soup with way too much liquid. All the vegetables had taken on a sickly yellow colour and were over cooked. This dish should be crispy and crunchy with bean sprouts, bamboo shoots and spring onion.Rice - OkayIn summary, choose the right dishes and you are in for a treat, choose the wrong ones and you may be disappointed. Lets hope the takeaway read this and apply a fix. If they do I will happily travel the three and a half hours to sample it again.

We have been to this restaurant/ takeaway many times. Always had good food and good portions. Not this time. We had a set meal with mixed starter, duck and then mains and rice etc. We had a nice plate of mixed starter but there was only enough prawn toast to have a quarter of a slice each. Then came the duck but there was only enough duck and pancakes to have 1 and a half each. We asked for more and was told no.What made it worse was seeing spare duck on other tables ie they had plenty. Thankfully things picked up and we had plenty of mains brought to us. So much so that we couldn't eat it all. In summary the food we had was good and I have no idea why we had really mean portions of prawn toast, duck and pancakes. It was a disappointing visit compared to our previous ones.

Ordered chinese again from the new hong Kong and must say it is easily the best Chinese in the area! I have used it multiple times before and of course your sometimes get busy periods and human error mistakes but it is so rare here. The food is scrumptious and the best portion size in Herne Bay. They always cook it how you want it when asked too! And delivery is usually fast and reliable with great delivery drivers. I would recommend this Chinese above any within miles!9.5/10!!!

Was going to have delivered but busy for home delivery so collected.Pleasant owners. Good price.Food tasted lovely and NOT greasy and that after taste.Chicken chow me in. .Egg fried rice and other food items all good.Chicken balls large portion. Lean and cruncy.All very good. Will be back.
