The first time I ordered was not long after they first opened and the food never arrived so I received a refund.I gave them another go today and this time the food arrived. The garlic bread sharer was delicious and so were the chicken pops. The pizza was really fresh although I wasnât too keen on the brioche style stuffed crust. Overall better than competitors and it was delivered quickly.

We ordered a Forno on the 06/04 and was not disappointed. It was delivered within 45 minutes. We order scampi & chips, a spaghetti and meatballs, a stuziccini started and a cheesy garlic bread with caramelized onions. Everything was beautifully cooked.The only thing to improve is the stuziccini is advertised as coming with chilli oil but it never seems to arrive with it!

The food is always good and reliable at Pizza Express, but what really made our visit a great experience tonight was the faultless service. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and our main waitress was lovely- just the right mix of helpfulness and friendliness. Thank you! Also, the rhubarb and prosecco fizz on the summer menu is fab!

Standard food (although the fish did taste and look like it came frozen from the local supermarket) but highly priced. For what looks like a high class place the food was disappointing and the service wasn't much better (including the waiter laughing when we were actually complaining about the food). It will definitely not be somewhere we visit when we are in the area next. You can get much better food elsewhere for less. Ask is an Italian style restaurant in the centre of Abingdon in a great location. We came with a group and I personally thought the food to be average and uninspired and the service intermittent at best. The staff were friendly but simply not enough of them on a busy night. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby that I will try next time I visit. Wine list no more than OK. Shame really as this could be a great place to eat.
