This restaurant is open to the public and an excellent place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner or just a drink and piece of cake. We visited with family and found happy and friendly staff to greet us and excellent customer service. The restaurant was clean and tidy and the food delicious. We were able to order alcoholic drinks and everything was served in acceptable time. The food was locally sourced and cooked on the premises to order. The cakes were all homemade and irrisistable. After our meal we had coffee on the patio and watched the golfers playing and enjoying the sunshine and lovely views. This is definitely somewhere that I would recommend and will be returning very soon.

I ordered tollesbury cusinie new chilli hot dog last last after seeing it advertised on there Facebook pageI was delighted with it it was a taste sensation hot to the tongue with a lovely after heat but not over powering... highly recommended and I will be ordering again

We decided to try this place out with the kids and instantly fell in love with the lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the fact that nothing is too much to ask for, we pretty much made up our own pizzas which is handy when the little ones like to choose themselves! We found it to be reasonably priced particularly as they had their weekday offers on and we will defo be regulars :)

We visited Friday evening all tables inside were used, we would have loved to sit outside which looked lovely but it wasnât warm enough but there are patio heaters. The lady serving us was very efficient and friendly, the pizzas are first class and I look forward to returning. I read that it is open Early July till late summer, so may need to try their Heybridge restaurant next time.Dear w6jed,Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with us, I m happy to hear you enjoyed your evening. 11 of us for dinner to celebrate a colleague leaving work. The restaurant was busy but the staff were completely overwhelmed and couldn't cope with orders. It looked nearly 1 hour for them to take our order and when the food was served several of our party had to wait even longer. The staff tried to deliver food we hadnt ordered and it also appeared on the bill, along with a service charge which we didn't pay. At no time during the 3 hours that we were in the restaurant did anyone apologise for the delays or explain why things were taking so long. Not great at all.

We have lived in Maldon for years but for some reason never considered trying this restaurant. Friends booked and invited us to join them, glad that we did. We were only a small party of six and all of us really enjoyed our evening. Nice relaxing atmosphere, attentive service from the two waitresses. We all found a dish to suit us on the menu and all of us really enjoyed every part of the meal. Considering the amount we had to drink, wine, beer etc I feel that at a cost of around £40 per head including 10% service represented great value for money. We all agreed that we will not hesitate in visiting again.

We recently hired the private dining area to celebrate a Ruby Wedding anniversary. There were 24 of us in total and the space was perfect. We paid for decorations and a prosecco reception, both of which were very well done and created a lovely atmosphere. We had to pick food in advance but the menu was large and varied with dietary preferences catered for and all very good when it arrived. The service was exceptional - very attentive staff with an eye for sorting even the small details. Would definitely recommend.
