What can I say, found this place by accident and had the faggots which were bloody excellent. Meals at 2 for £12. Had to come back and try the steak pie and it was excellent as well. Highly recommend this place if you need to eat in Shrewsbury

Our little local pub in Leighton had been radically improved since the arrival of Becky and Sean and chef Dan. A huge amount of effort went into organising yesterdayâs family fun day and it was wonderful to see so much support from local people.Great food and entertainment and people enjoying themselves letâs hope further investment is made in the pub and grounds well done team Kynn.

Dined early in the evening ,food was excellent ,hot and exactly what we had ordered.Did not have to wait a long time for the food ,Drinks were brought to our table and the staff were very attentive to our needs .thats why I titled it Pleasant Evening look forward to our next visit good facilities all round .,Hi thanks for your review we are pleased you had a pleasant evening with us and we hope to see you soon.

Went for my anniversary meal with my husband on 17th October and we had excellent service! Got our drinks and food very fast and everything tasted great. Very attentive staff also, a tall lady with long brown hair and glasses served us and was very good at her job. Will definitely go again.

Sunday lunch with family need to book has does get busy .friendly clean and choice of courses . presentation good .meats were on the chewy side could be better and more tender and better tastier thicker gravy like any where never seem to get it right.nice selection of vegetables and in dishes .overall ok .Hi maryblondie,Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. My husband and I visited the Haughmond for the second time. We were totally delighted with our meal, the staff were very friendly and we cant wait to go back again. The flavours, the display on the plate were absolutely fabulous, The table was nice and big for two people which sometimes is a problem in restaurants, but we were very happy with the space provided. We will be returning for the Christmas menu again this year, having experienced it last December and it was amazing.

As always a really fab country pub...no plastic food here. Varied menu and our food was so delicious. We chose Duck with Spiced Apricots...interesting varied vegetables ...a great choice. The Black Forest Pavlova (chocolate, cherries, meringue whatâs not to like. Plus our favourite staff on that lunch on Weds. Book and visit ...always lovely. Thank you all...

We met friends here for dinner at their suggestion - it was recommended to them as a good authentic pub and didnât disappoint. Total 8 of us including 4 kids. Perhaps not the best choice on a busy Saturday night for families, but the staff were super friendly, the food tasty from a typical pub menu and relatively quick service, given how busy. We had booked a table a few days before and were surprised when asked to pre-order our food, but it worked out. We wouldnât have got a table otherwise as it was so busy. I think most people would go here just for drinks.

Visited this pub after reading the brilliant TripAdvisor reviews. We were certainly not dissapointed! We couldn't have had a nicer welcome from the staff and the selection of food abd drinks were fantastic. We decided on the buttermilk chicken and Korean fried chicken with vietnemese fries. All of which were outstanding. It was a lovely day so sat outside on the sunny terrace. Thanks again to all the friendly staff. We wish we lived closer so could visit more often! Thanks so much Thomas, sorry for the slow reply, I'm just reading through our reviews now and it's been lovely to read such nice comments.
