Historically in Cheshire, it is on the Wirral Peninsula, along the west bank of the River Mersey, opposite the city of Liverpool. The Birkenhead Urban Area defined as the contiguous built-up area along the eastern side of the Wirral had a total population of 325,264 in the 2011 Census. In the 2011 census, the Parliamentary constituency of Birkenhead had a population of 88,818. The Birkenhead and Tranmere electoral ward, covering a much smaller area, had a population of 15,879.

Met my friend for a coffee,the place itself reminds me of typical Italian Cafe,warming and pleasant. Served by a polite person and didnât wait long for my Americano(hot) prices are cheaper than some Italian cafes,but beer/wine always seem to be a bit on the high side. I enjoyed my visit, and will definitely call in again.

We have been to Bacaro before and it didnât disappoint on our return visit. They staff are very friendly and attentive, my wife has a dairy allergy and they were very prompt in producing their allergy menu. The food was delicious, particularly the Tuna Tartare and the goats cheese pearls.

Bacchus Taverna is a modest looking little place on a busy Liverpool street near the cruise ship dock, but it's a gem. The inside is tidy and welcoming and our waiter was very kind and helpful. We had Kleftiko (slow roasted lamb shoulder) and Keftedia (lamb & pork meatballs in a fragrant tomato sauce). Our main dishes were accompanied by green beans with tomato & onion, rice lightly dressed with tomato sauce & roasted potatoes. We shared a plate of Saganaki for our appetizer. The lamb shoulder was fork tender, the 6 meatballs were handmade & tasty. All the food was spiced perfectly & our waiter took wonderful care of us! Definitely a placed we'd enjoy returning to.

Visted this restaurant post cinema visit . Restaurant busy but was seated immediately and order taken and served quickly.Staff pleasant and polite and the food was simply delicious ! ( I can highly recommend the sea bass ) plenty of tasty dishes to chose from the menu .

With dishes from throughout Asia you will definitely find something you like here.I tried the Persian lamb and Sri Lankan chicken. Both were excellent. We had 10 tapas style dishes in total between three and all were amazing. We really enjoyed this meal. One of the best we have had in Liverpool. We booked this on the fly just an hour and a half prior to a concert at the Floral Pavilion. Even the phone call to book made me smile as the person sounded delighted to take the booking.We received a lovely welcome and the waiter went through the specials, explaining them clearly to us. The food came in good time and was the most delicious food I've had in a restaurant for a long time - totally home-made and fresh. Prices were very reasonable and we came away fully satisfied and delighted with the experience!!Thank you all concerned! :-)

Noya serves up wholesome Mediterranean based food, mainly of the Turkish & Greek variety although there are also some pasta based dishes. You will not go away Hungary, the portions are huge! The staff are friendly & attentive.
