Amazing crepes and coffee for lunch great little garden to sit in the sun also homemade cakes and lots of vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options available. They are using local ingredients and staff is very friendly and checking on you. Was my 2nd visit now and will return very soon! Can recommend to everyone.

After reading their reviews, and they welcome dogs in I booked a table for Saturday night.Seated immediately we were explained the extensive menu, the large drinks menu ( 19 gins) specials and the childrenâs menu. So after a while we chose panko prawns, scallops and garlic bread to start. Mains of mac & cheese with haddock and crayfish tails, chicken Provençal and my daughter opted for fish goujons. With a 5* cocktail and home gin we waited for our food. Starters arrived well presented and very tasty, although could have been a little warmer. Mains, accompanied by a glass of wine were wonderful. Full of taste and flavour. Empty plates were a compliment to the chef team. Service throughout was attentive but not intrusive. We would definitely go back.

Had a lovely pub lunch here today. Atmosphere in the pub was quite cosy, my husband had the scampi lunch menu and I had a burger - tasty food nicely presented and reasonably priced. Biggest problem was parking - 30 minutes only if parked outside but we did just manage it. I would come back here again.

Googled best Sunday Roast in Dorset and Lord Bute came highly recommended. Can certainly endorse this recommendation! 15 of us celebrating my Mums 90th Birthday - she will not forget the experience - restaurant ambiance very nice, a lovely welcome on arrival, very attentive staff and amazing four course lunch all served at a relaxed pace. Browns is our local chippy and it is simply magnificent. The menu is varied and everything tastes delicious. Recently I tried the chicken nuggets for the first time, they were very like Chinese style chicken balls, crunchy yet full of juicy chicken. The chips are always amazing as are the peas, curry sauce, sausages, fish.. In fact everything is soooo tasty.

We went for lunch on Sunday to celebrate a birthday. We arrived early but the team were completely unfazed. Food was excellent; service was exemplary and prices fair (not cheap: fair). Everything was superb with the exception of parking which is always a bit tricky here.............

We had lunch here on two days - both excellent. From our outside table we watched the sailing boats, kite surfers and windsurfers with a view of the Needles in the distance and the sound of the waves lapping on the beach. Our food was excellent - fish and chips, warm ciabatta sandwich, ham, egg and chips; but the undoubted star was the toasted bacon and sausage sandwich - so well-filled, delicious and great value too. With the addition of its friendly, helpful staff, this place is unmissable!
