Relax by the seaside at our Premier Inn Skegness Seafront hotel. Take a stroll down the famous Skegness Pier, which people have been visiting for fantastic breaks to the East Coast for over a century. Perfect for a weekend getaway, there's plenty of things to do nearby with Natureland Seal Sanctuary and Skegness Aquarium only short walks away from the hotel. The Seacroft Golf Club is also close by if you fancy perfecting your swing, as well as crazy golf courses if you prefer your game with a few more windmills. Enjoy great food like freshly hand-battered fish and chips at our on-site Cookhouse and Pub restaurant, and when the sun sets look forward to sinking into one of our comfy Hypnos beds.
We do love a premier inn, but for some reason i was always skeptical over using the one at Skegness seafront (think it had been down to the argument of taking away business from other hoteliers along the front that had been there years). However, for whatever reason I changed my mind and booked for a few days away. We stayed in one of the premier rooms, so had a good side view of part of the pier/ fair/ beach. Staff were welcoming, no matter who you encountered there was always a smile on their face and they evidently took pride in their service. Being midweek outside of school holidays - breakfast time was quiet on both mornings. Plates were hot, as was the food with plenty to choose from. They were offering poached eggs and porridge by order only so if you wanted those items they were very fresh. The pub attached was open for meals into the evening as well, we didn’t use this but you could see it was a popular choice for visitors and hotel residents as there was always someone in. Great location for all main seafront activities (pier / seal sanctuary / fair and arcades). Will come back again if we have a few days at the coast. Good thing about the hotel is that there is ample parking and it’s free! There is also a shop across the road that sells essentials if you run out or forget to pack things.

Kings Park Hotel is full of character and charm, having emerged following extensive renovation from the historic market town’s former police station, dating back to the late 19th Century. Keeping many of the original features, this venue is uniquely stunning. It is located opposite Retford’s beautiful, scenic and award-winning Kings Park, central to local amenities. The hotel is the ideal base to visit and explore Nottinghamshire with Clumber Park and Sherwood Forest just a short drive away. Robin Hood Doncaster/Sheffield airport and Gamston airport are both close by, as is the A1 and M1. The 12 stylish rooms at Kings Park Hotel are all en-suite, with free wi-fi, a flat-screen satellite television and tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel has a fully licensed restaurant and bar, The Old Police Station, which offers delicious meals throughout the day as well as well as a full English or continental breakfast.
Nice hotel. Clean rooms - good facilities and a lovely breakfast. Good location near a lovely park and supermarket if you need any bits. Parking around the hotel is free overnight. So all good except for communication. They don’t answer the phone nor respond to emails. I sent a message asking about breakfast times - received a response 6 days after my stay. I emailed five days ago asking for an invoice - nothing yet. I emailed to say I would be arriving late - no indication that anybody had read it as I received a voicemail asking why I hadn’t turned up? Disappointing.

A great location with plenty of walks from the door and very comfortable rooms. Sevice was excellent and there was a very convivial feel to the pub. Breakfasts were great and evening pub fare was basic but good.

The Tulip Queen is a carvery pub combined with a with a 38 bed lodge hotel on the outskirts of Spalding
We enjoyed our time here. Definitely the right place to stop and not within the town. It was quiet and comfortable. Rooms were clean and given there were 4 of us in it, spacious enough. My only critique is no reception. You have to use the neighbouring pub which isn't ideal with young children.

In-room facilities include complimentary Wi-Fi, chilled water (on request), coffee and tea making facilities, Freeview TV, direct dial telephone, iron and ironing board, safe and en-suite bathroom with shower and complimentary toiletries. All 32-bedrooms are accessible by lift and stairs, with accommodation being secure and only accessible with a hotel guest’s key card.
Usually one of the most expensive hotels, especially when students are arriving. I visit my student daughter & stay around town in the medium range hotels. Sunley came up at only £69 when last time I looked it was £170, so I booked it as a treat to myself. There is less here than the budget hotels. Limited TV channels, no bathroom bin, no milk on the tea/coffee tray, no bottle of water or beaker to drink from the tap, tiny bathroom. Had to lean over the loo to reach a towel, had to get dry outside the bathroom, loo roll falls under loo every time you reach for it, shower wets your hair even when doing a limbo to keep it dry. No shelf to put your toiletries on in shower so have to wet your hair bending to pick them up off the floor. Breakfast is only continental. Lack of staff to ask for anything. Only given 1 key card for the both of us. Very clean & quiet though. More value for your money very close by so I won't come here again.

We stayed here whilst celebrating a friends wedding, the location was perfect and only a short walk to the venue. The room was lovely, very spacious and included all amenities you would need. The bathroom was bright and modern and the room was very homely so we felt very at ease. The staff were all impeccable! I cannot fault the service one bit and it really made our stay fantastic, all our needs were taken care of and they went above and beyond to make our stay spectacular. We had the breakfast as well which I would highly recommend, it was the best black pudding we have ever had! We will definitely be returning to the bronze pig any time we are staying in Lincoln from now on.
