I love this place, especially this time of the year when it is not that busy.
Normally we always sit outside but I have to admit it was to cold this January night to sit outside even thought the infrared heating is.
I had my favorite pizza blue cheese with banana, so delicious and a Glas of merlot.
Everything is very tasty so it doesn't really matter what you choose.
But if you fancy something sweet try the Belgian Waffel, it's absolutely perfect. Crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle, I prefer it with butter and sugar, unhealthy I know but oh so delicious, not finished there we end the unhealthy eating with a perfect nice Irish coffee.
For people who have never been in Domburg please try this place, you won't get disappointed.
The only annoying thing is the high season when the place is over full and busy, and you can not make any table Reservations.

After a day of work we went to Vlissingen to have a look at the new appartment of our student daughter and decided to have dinner in Domburg, where she was staying.
The drinks (smoothies and Sangria) were realy good and we decided on spareribs, enchillada's and taco's. Portions were good and the food excellent! We finished with the El Fuego dessert, which was enough for three, and Churros, which were delicious.
I will certainly return next time we visit Vlissingen!

We used this beach pavilion, on a resting stop during a bike ride. Coffee was good, apple pie which we ordered was very good as well - much better than we are used to when visiting tourist spots. We were helped and served very quickly and friendly, which we definitely liked. This pavilion is really close to the city centre, it doesn't take a long dune - hike to get here.

Fish Restaurant on top of the Domburg Dunes. Spectacular view from the terras and the restaurant. Menu for lunch of dinner: Mostly Fish, Lobster and Oysters. But also very nice salads, sandwiches and fingerfood. Very fresh and tasty food. Nice Ambiance, Good and friendly Service. Great place to be also with your children. Feel welcom!

I don't give 5/5 easily but Het Badpaviljonen is worth for that. I had lunch on the Terrace outside the restaurant in a sunny day and the view was astonishing. We ordered some finger food and it was fresh and delicious: mainly seafood. My son got a simple toast but it was very good. It is not easy to cook a so simple food and make it so you can remember it. We ordered some sweet too: a fantastic walnut cake. I'm satisfied of the waitress/waiter too: always kind and fast. Dulcis in fundo: the restaurant is inside a beatiful historical building.

The restaurant is beautifully located and decorated in a beach style. Prices are fair considering the location. Delicious food is definitely a strong point of the restaurant. We had perfectly baked cod and fresh tuna salad. The was too much of vinegar in the latter one, what spoiled the taste of that beautiful fish. The low point of this venue was the service. It was neither pleasant nor smooth. There were several waiters that served us at the same time and their English proficiency was low. The other low point was a dirty toilet and in part also the serving room. Definitely more work is necessary in the area of service quality.

We visited this place on a nice sunny day in May.
I think we stayed here for 4 or 5 hours just enjoying the sun, the view and their great services. You're well looked after on their Terrace. For a beach place it's amazing to have such great service!
While sitting and Reading we enjoyed a number of their dishes. I really enjoyed the fish soup. Simple, but very tasteful.
On top of all the above the place is just a 3 minute walk from the parking. And the parking is free.
I like it here!

We came here because of Tripadvisor's rank No. 1 restaurant for Domburg and were not disappointed regarding our dinner. We took the fish of the day (catfish) with a combination of very unique tastes, for us unknown vegetable and harmonious sauces.
The service was quite fast and attentive – but we got the feeling that "De visbar" knows well about its ranking in Domburg and the staff seemed a bit snobbish to us.
As we personally prefer tables outdoor or near the window we did not really enjoy the atmosphere (with two tables outside, two behind the only two windows and the rest without daylight or fresh air). What we enjoyed very much was the show "cooking" of the Sushi/Maki in the rear part of the restaurant.
We definitely would come back for the fish, personal service and atmosphere could be better.

Decided to give this restaurant another try after a rather disappointing experience two years ago. Sad to say, again it was very disappointing. Poor service, mediocre food.
It is baffling me that this restaurant manages to hire people that clearly do not like the hospitality industry. They are uninterested, unprofessional and rude. Had we been there on a very busy, sunny evening, we could understand that they might have been tired. But we were outside on the Terrace with just a few other customers that were braving the rain. (the Terrace is covered btw). So how can you "forget" to tend to your customers if there are just a few. Staff was staring into space, rather than looking after the customers.
And then came the food. Fair enough it is a restaurant on the beach, so we did not expect fine dining. But for the prices they charge we do expect at least a decent plate of food. The vegetarian option is a green curry...... It was green all right, with a sliver of some indiscernible vegetable. Then came the famous Domburg burgers. They looked and tasted ok. But were presented with an enormous amount of (awful) fries chucked on the plate. How can you ruin fries?????? We know it needs a great chef to cook beautiful fish, and clearly they have not found the one. Our bouillabaisse and the 'scholfilet' were of extremely poor quality.
Stick to the view & drinks on a sunny day, and you might not be disappointed.

We were at the beautiful shop/restaurant of Mondriaans last Sunday when the weather turned out to be hot like a Summer day and not usual Fall weather. The owners of Mondriaans winkel clearly didn't look at the weather forecast otherwise they would have had extra waiters. The chef was unable to serve the food in a reasonable time frame, everyone was complaining. Several items on the menu were sold out, like the quiches. At one point he put the Closed sign on the door so he would have time to serve all the waiting clients. The food was delicious when it finally arrived!! The shop/restaurant itself is really beautiful and I am sure we will be back one day.

Very tasty cod in the oven with nice vegetables. Cooked mussels could do with some extra vegetables for more flavor but overall a tasty dinner. Fish for our child came with some very appreciated vegetables. Friendly, quick waitresses considering the Terrace was quite full.
I would definitely go here again.
