Reviewed By AustraliaCaroleDriving along the main road from the north-west, not wanting to drive into Chiang Mai, we saw the sign to Is Am O Resort and went to look. A few blocks off the main road along tiny streets, well signposted and worth the effort. The friendly welcome and discounted price convinced us to stay. Loved the quirky decorations and paintings, always something different and fun to see, both in our gorgeous clean room and around the garden and small lake. Staying there is like living in a fairy tale painting. Kids would love it. Food was a bit limited with a basic breakfast and no restaurants close by, so a car is a necessity. We stayed in January 2014. A delightful resort. A highlight of our trip... and I'm still folding elephant towels.

Reviewed By DiW204While staying with our daughter and family in Chiang Mai recently, she booked for us all to stay for a night in these treehouses - and we had the skyscraper Tamarind room! The resort is quirky and fun, with lovely friendly staff, good wholesome food and certainly takes you away from it all, while there! We had a tasty dinner, no choice but well cooked and efficiently served, followed by lighting a campfire and toasting marshmallows- a highlight for the children! Our treehouse was very high, very well built (though wouldn’t pass any western health and safety tests!) basically furnished - but a wonderful and highly recommended experience. We took the short route in, which involved a river bridge followed by 3kms of very rough dirt road to reach the resort - fine in a 4WD and no big deal if you live in Australia - but not in a precious 2WD car!

All the lessons, meditation sessions, morning rituals etc are amazing. -Right now you have a unique chance to experience a more quiet version of the Sanctuary (due to corona). -It might seem pricey, but there is a lot of value in all the sessions (meditation and yoga), massages, food, and overall experience. -The food is fresh and filling. You are served breakfast by the river before yoga, lunch with dessert, and three-course meals for dinner every night. -The teachers are great. It was my first time doing yoga and I enjoyed it a lot, both the more relaxing sessions and the tougher ones.

Our place is located in a rural atmosphere but only 30 minutes from the center of Chiang Mai. It is convenient for the travelers who needs a quiet atmosphere : Many families with children stay in our place because of our family rooms suitable for 4 people. Children enjoy the garden and the swimming pool , they can play with our very gentle cats. We can take you to local restaurants, advise you place to visit in our neighborhood. Transportation to the city is now very easy with Grab application. We use local products for the breakfast, coffee and tee from the mountains, wild honey: Homemade jams are served with crepes, a touch of French cuisine ! Yoga teachers host our retreat in our homestay for - luxury, private and traditional Thai location - Thai and oil massage - nature, culture. meditation in temples - vegetarian Thai food, - our hospitality - we speak French and English

The place truly captures their residence to provide a relaxing space. Their beautiful interior decoration is very eye-catching. The host was very welcoming and kind to us with their services and accommodations. The activities that the host had provided us with precious memories that we will carry with us for a very long time. I truly recommend this place, from the accommodations to the experience truly satisfy what people need to have a beautiful vacation.

Nestling in the foothills of the mountain ranges surrounding Chiang Mai, Sanjana is located in Doi Saket District and is just 30 minutes from the old city walls and approximately 35 minutes from the airport. Deep in the ricefields surrounded by nature and incredible views Sanjana is undeniably picture perfect. A small spa resort with just 4 detached luxury villas, superb facilities including a 20m swimming pool and restaurant.

Reviewed By Donald2273So enjoyed my stay here I came to Chiang Mai for 2 weeks and my first stay was at Sanjana so I could unwind after my flight. Apart from 2 nights in Chiang Rai which the hotel arranged for me, I ended up staying there the whole time. The hotel is in the countryside with fantastic views all around. The villa was very stylish, well maintained and equipped and also extremely comfortable, especially the bed. Sitting on my terrace watching the fish, the birds and the activity in the fields with the farmers was very relaxing. The facilities of the resort were far more than I expected as there are only 5 villas in total. Great swimming pool and the gym although small, was sufficient for me. The food in the restaurant was very good and the menu varied. I felt like royalty staying here as nothing was too much trouble for the staff and owners. I struggle to write anything negative as its an amazing place and I hope to go back there on my next Thailand trip.

I stayed overnight at her place, house specially for guests. Amori is gentle and knows a lot , and take in consideration back problems or other injuries. Every Saturday, she offers a morning yoga class to all seniors of the village , and offer them a lunch...I was suprised how strong they are for their age (until 74 years old) dynamique and safe yoga. Such a great « pause » in nature , she’s proposes package all included yoga , food and accommodations. If you like authentic experience , I recommend . Thank you Amori.
