Fantastic Day Retreat from Hangzhou
Reviewed By Alex PMy wife and I joined a group of friends for a dinner and an overnight stay at the Naked Stables. Right from the start the service was impeccable. We arrived by car from Hangzhou and were greeted with a smile. The check-in procedure was done very efficiently and any additional information which I requested was provided immediately. We were driven to our Earth Hut in the middle of the forest. The room was well designed and had all the amenities you would expect. The terrace and the peacefulness made it even more perfect. I decided to enjoy the surrounding area and decided to hike with our dog (pets are allowed) to Naked Castle and back before dinner. The dinner was perfect from the service & kitchen side and can only be highly recommended. We had a great night sleep in the tranquil surroundings and joined our friends who decided to stay at the Naked Castle for breakfast which was equally tasty and the service was perfect once again. We are looking forward to our stay at either of the resorts soon.

A great place to stay when visiting Moganshan莫干山
Reviewed By yihleongVisited Moganshan over the past weekend 5/6-5/7. Joined the company outing and brought along my family. The Queen's Hotel皇后饭店 is located at the top level of Moganshan. Fresh air and Great view with beautiful scenery, with lots of green vegation all around. There is even a man-made pond with goldfish and a liesure garden swing next to where I stayed, this makes perfect reason to get both kids out of the room in double quick time to have some fun before breakfast. The con, to reach the hotel, you are transported via winding roads round the hilly terrain. For people bringing young kids (like what I did), you will have to stand-by a bag in the event your kids felt motion sickness. The hotel has a few buildings and thus able to accomodate large groups for company outing. Since this is located like 700m above sea-level, the surroundings including the rooms might felt damp. Room is clean and equipped with modern toilet and shower facilities. It is important that you do not start comparing a 4-star hotel here versus one modern upscale 4-star hotel in a big city. Our tour guide gave us a brief history of the hotel, we understand that it started off as a restuarant almost 100 years ago. A prominent banker bought over the place and named this Queen's Restuarant. Soon after, more buildings appear before turning this place into a hotel. The place where Chairman Mao (Founding Father of Communist China) stayed at a building near the hotel and is accessible via 5 to 10 mins walk. Lastly, understand that the winter view is also fantastic at Moganshan, thus another reason to visit this hotel again when it snowed.....

Reviewed By Mirr月牙刀有一家民宿一直想来 大约日思夜想了三年 终于在莫干山这次短暂的行程里来了 云溪上 莫干山名字好听的民宿有很多 却唯独喜欢这个 云溪上位置有点偏，在莫干山的另一头 但是相反换来的就是绝对的安静和舒适 适合需要放空 需要私密 需要安静的人 比如我就是 入住的是二楼的含苞 大床房 面积很大 自带一个超大的露台 虽然现在是冬天 但从空调间里出来吹吹山里的冷风也很舒服 住下来最大的体验感就是云溪上的床 超级软 舒服的不得了 让人赖着不肯下来 so你懂的～

Saved a stranded family in the snow
Reviewed By Kevin MWithout realizing that so much of Moganshan was shut down in winter I booked us a visit in January. We arrived right at the tale end of the biggest snow storm the area had seen in many years and discovered that the resort we had booked via Agoda was closed for the season. None of the resorts in the area seemed to have any guests but Cloud Mirror was staffed. They graciously opened one of their beautiful guest rooms and fed us every day. We had wonderful meals with many of the vegetables coming from their snow covered gardens. The rooms were warm and comfortable despite the snow outside. I have to say I wonder why Moganshan isn't more popular in the winter. We had the entire place to ourselves. I don't think we saw any other tourists during our hikes on the mountain. Many of the hiking trails through the bamboo were easy to find but we did have to break trail a bit through untracked snow up to a foot deep. The bamboo forests were beautiful and silent in the snow. I am so glad I experienced Moganshan like this. Thank you again to the wonderful people at Cloud Mirror who took us in and took such great care of us.

实惠的避暑之处
Reviewed By flyscarft无忧山庄据说是德国人建造的三层别墅，不过后来店主重新装修了，最妙的是在一层庭院处安了几个秋千，很是有意味。清晨或傍晚时分，不论是和老婆还是孩子荡着秋千享受着夏日中山上的清凉多是快意啊。这里距荫山街中心不远，据店主说这个旅馆是唯一可浏览景区全貌的山庄。我客房在阳台看确实很开阔，能看到大部分景色，不过毕竟不是最高处，还是有几个地方看不到的。 这里价格不高，旅馆的菜烧的也不错，是个避暑好去处。
