Arrived in town late Saturday evening and as far as we knew this was the only place to eat. We were the only customers too so was everyone else?
It was a cold evening so glad of the welcoming log burner.
My colleague and I don't speak a word of Spanish between us so were guided by our Peruvian colleague. A big steak each.
I was a bit disappointed with mine as it had rather too many chewy bits and simply wasn't cooked hot enough on the outside to heat it through. I like it medium rare but this was still cold in the middle.
Salad though was lovely as was the wine. Service was fast and friendly.
Discovered two other places since though which I'd rate higher but would consider this again as my Peruvian colleague's meal looked fabulous.

Todo normal en cuanto a repostería, pero al pedir una leche con plátano, que está en la carta, se demoraron cerca de media hora porque fueron a comprar el plátano ♂️. Es necesario mejorar el servicio.

A cafeteria Karin é super simpática. Poucas mesas, tem tortas deliciosas. Também se pode almocar. Há sempre o menu do dia e o menu a la carte. A proprietaria, Sra. Silvia é muito simpática. Se der sorte, o prato do dia sendo Costillar ao forno, escolha!!! é muito bom!!!!!

Durante mucho tiempo hemos buscado una buena pizzería cerca de casa, un lugar que mezcle masa, buenos ingredientes y una buena atención... lo encontramos a más de 600 kilómetros . De vacaciones en Conguillio pasamos a Curacautín a buscar provisiones y buscamos un lugar para almorzar... llegamos a un lugar que no llamaba precisamente a un buen comer pero al entrar con encontramos con una súper buena atención de la señora que estaba y nos recomendó una promoción de “magnolitos” con una pizza familiar que realmente estaba buenísima!!! Rica masa, ricos ingredientes y buena atención ... la mezcla perfecta. Felicitaciones y 100% recomendado.

The customer service was so amazing, I highly recommend eating here and staying in their huge apartment. Paula and her husband absolutely spoiled us. Their staff were amazing and very welcoming. Paula's husband is the main head chef, he truly is a Master Chef he knows how to cook, even when you feel like something that's not on their menu, he will make it happen. Loved the food & service here, you won't be disappointed. This place is fantastic! thank you for making our visit a joyful one Fogon Del Cordobes + staff 10 out of 10.

Had a great experience staying here while passing through this remote region. Arrived late and left early, but the owner Mario was very accommodating- keeping the kitchen open for me and making my stay extra comfortable. Would highly recommend this spot!

Exquisito, me acuerdo de los sabores y se ma hace agua la boca, comimos un costillar ahumado con polenta y de postre un parfait de chocolate con avellanas, la atención era increíble y el lugar maravilloso, 100% recomendado
