This restaurant specialises in grilled and barbecued meat. The menu ranges from souvlaki through to tbones, steaks and plates meat for sharing. Everything we ate was tasty, tender and perfectly cooked. The setting on the seafront is a bonus. But the real clincher is that it has the loveliest staff you could hope to meet anywhere. Simply the best.

The Veggera Cafe is much more than a simple cafe. It provides beach sun-beds and umbrellas, beachside food and drinks service, excellent lunches (especially their salads!) and fantastic cocktails which you can drink while soaking in the beautiful sunset. The staff were very friendly and could not have helped more. It is situated on the sandy beach in the middle of town. It was fantastic and really helped us have a memorable holiday.

This is perhaps the best souvlaki place in paleochora. Packed with locals and tourists it offer the typical range of Greek meat dishes: souvlaki, gyros, steaks,spit lamp etc . Big portions, plenty of food, good quality meat. If you want to try charcoaled meat this is the place to go. Not so inexpensive as other reviews suggest especially if you don't go for a typical pitta and gyros.
